The job really was a simple one, taking out a group of bandits that were causing issues on a rural road heading into Magnolia, and we were easily able to complete it.

Running into Natsu and Lucy afterward, well, it was to be expected.

"You look like you've been through some things," I mused with a snicker after taking in Lucy's frazzled look and messy hair. "Did they drive you that batty so quickly?"

"He didn't even tell me that we'd be going somewhere so cold," complained Lucy with a huff while Natsu continued to argue with Gray. "But we did save Macao, then he tricked me into going on a job dealing with Everlue."

Wow, I hadn't known those jobs were so back-to-back as they ended up being.

Then again, the job I went on with Gray had taken weeks considering we walked instead of taking the train unless needing to.

He was just as bad as the oaf was in wanting to train me during simple jobs.

Not that I was complaining too much since it helped me get stronger.

"Sounds like something Natsu would do," I mused with a light nod before yelping as Natsu appeared and grabbed me to toss over his shoulder. "Dammit, put me down!"

I truly was getting tired of being treated like a bag of potatoes by everyone.

Mira had tried to tell me once it was how they showed they cared for me.

It was hard to believe at the time since she had been giggling like mad.

"You have to take a job with me next," crowed Natsu without once listening to put me down making me slump on his shoulder. "Promise me."

"Alright fine," I stated giving in. "Though firstly, we have a problem. Where did Happy get off to?"

Because he was no longer with us.

From there it was quick for Natsu to place me down and then begin hunting down Happy by his scent. Which lead us to the members of Eisenwald that were currently trying to cook him.

Seems this bit would stay exactly the same.

Though that was all the remained the same as I easily stepped up to help take down the Eisenwald members as well. It also gave me the chance to fight with my newest celestial spirit family member. That being the Fox of the Damned.

Kitsune was someone who surprisingly worked well with Wolf.

Or so he had mentioned yesterday.

"Is it my turn?" purred out Kitsune with a wicked smirk upon her face before moving in a flash to begin attacking the huge chicken person.

Kitsune used illusions and speed magic.

She also knew hand-to-hand.

"Good going," I praised with a slight pout since I had wanted to fight by her side but sadly, I couldn't keep up with her speed. "Though next time, please let me fight with you."

Kitsune only sent me a wink before heading back to the celestial world.

"Wow, she was amazing," breathed out Lucy staring at the space Kitsune had been standing making me nod in agreement. "I can also tell that you really care about your spirits."

"Their my family," I answered in agreement as we shared a smile. "I know it's really rare to find celestial wizards that treat their spirits right."

But then again, celestial wizards were pretty rare to the point I hadn't come across another one until now. Then I knew moving forward there would only be about three others in the future.

I couldn't decide if it was a good thing or a sad thing considering all but one other treated their spirits like slaves or tools. Something that had always bothered me.

"I agree and feel the same," offered Lucy smile brightening before watching as Gray and Natsu tied up the Eisenwald members to the large tree near us. "Just why were these guys trying to eat Happy of all things?"

No one could answer her question but as one of the members began to mumble the words Lullaby there was a loud whooshing noise. Moments later I could only grimace at where the members had been tied up but were now buried in the ground.

The Nara knockoff had just killed members of his own guild.

"What the hell?" muttered Gray as he pulled me towards his side and forced my face against his shirt as if to hide the sight from me. "Just who would do something like this?!"

Lucy and Natsu remained silent but seemed to agree.

Moments later we were heading out, after I had contacted the Rune Knights via lacrima. I had to smile as Natsu and Gray worked to lighten the mood by trying to inform Lucy of who Erza was.

Though I couldn't hold back my laughter at how fearful she was becoming due to their words.

"Erza isn't all that scary," I cut in making both Natsu and Gray scoff and shake their heads. "I mean yeah, she is one of our strongest members, but as long as you're not a threat or doing something stupid. Then you have nothing to fear."

She only scolded Natsu and Gray so much because they kept getting into fights at the guild.

"We're back," I shouted with glee as Natsu kicked open the guild doors causing those inside to cheer and welcome us back. "Though you'll never believe it, Mira..."

I never got to finish what I was going to say as Loke came running in right behind us shouting that Erza was coming. That caused everyone to begin to panic.

"Wow," breathed out Lucy with wide eyes as she watched the other guild members. "Are you sure she isn't something terrifying."

"Their freaking out because they know they did something wrong," I explained with a light snicker as Macao began to mutter to himself. "Because again, Erza isn't someone bad."

She just wanted to do the best for the guild.

"Erza," called out Mira with a warm smile as the doors were thrown open as Erza stalked in with a large monster horn place on her shoulder, "welcome back."

"I heard some interesting things on my way back," mused Erza with a narrowed look shot around the guild making the others quiver in their seats. "Does anyone want to explain?"

From there she got in the groove of scolding each member, making me fight back my laughter while Lucy watched on in slight disbelief.

"Erza," I cheered when she finally made it over to the bar. "I'm glad your back. Don't forget that you promised to take a job with me next time you were in the guild."

"I know," agreed Erza with a light chuckle as she reached out to ruffle my hair. "In fact, I was about to look into a dark guild and was thinking of taking Gray, Natsu, and you with me."

Oh? I hadn't expected her to also mention me joining them.
