Starting Today, You Are a Nuisance!

The pink marble walls, the decadent interior design, the fluttering and fickle whims of my fellow students... This school is not what I would have imagined...

Ouran Academy, I heard wondrous things of this school. When I heard that they were granting enterance and 5 full ride scholarships to the top 5 ranking test scorers in Japan... I had to shoot my shot. To my surprise, my test score ranked 5th, and so I was accepted amongst all who attempted the scholarship test.

I studied so hard, and based on my base skill set, it felt utterly impossible. But I guess my hard work paid off, and here I am!

My family even had to move, just to be closer to the school. And that was no easy feat, my parents, and 3 siblings. One elder, two younger. But my parents wanted me to stand as a good example for the family and were proud of my accomplishments. Though we aren't the most well off, we manage.

Enough about myself, though. This school is crazy! The students all relatively ignore me, and they all look so mature and well dressed. Though we honor students have full ride scholarships, we still needed to buy our own uniforms. And well, my family between moving and supporting everyone couldn't afford it. Fortunately, they don't enforce the uniform so strictly here.

I still dress as nicely as I can! My typical wear on a daily basis is a long plain skirt, a button-up blouse, a ribbon tied around my neck, white ankle socks, and my old beat up Mary Jane's from high school. I look nice enough, I think. I try to wear my hair differently every day, too. Today, half down, and half up with two braided twin tails.

Walking through the halls is hellish beyond belief. People whisper about me, my status. And worse yet, the school is practically a mansion. I get lost on a near daily basis. But those around me are often kind enough to help me find my way. However, today was different. As I opened a door expecting my music class, I opened the door to music room #3... and instead of my teacher and fellow students bustling about inside, I was met with a lone young man. He was tall and slender, black hair, glasses, a handsome face... he was writing in a notebook.

He turned to face me as the doors swung open. His face felt unreadable as he gave me a once over up and down and wrote something down in the black leather book of his.

"U-uhm, hello there. I take it this room isn't music room #2?" I stammered out as I scanned the room for any other signs of life. But it truly was just him here.

"No, music room #2 is on the second floor. We are on the third floor. This would be music room #3" He replied calmly as he went back to whatever task he had on hand. I frowned a bit at his lackluster response.

"Well, sir, I am a little lost, you see--" I started to say before I was interrupted by his deep, cold voice.

"Look, if I had time to help out every lost freshman, I'd never have time to get anything done around here." He said harshly as he snapped his book closed and turned my direction. I stood frozen in awe as he started slowly walking in my direction. He stopped before me, holding onto the door beside me.
"If you are looking for the right room, perhaps you should inquire with your student handbook and map, I'm quite sure they gave you one during orientation, am I right?"

"W-well... I was given one. But a fellow freshman in my class lost theirs... so I borrowed mine to them..." I explained as calmly as I could. I admired his handsome and cat-like features.

He stared at me a moment before walking over to his own book bag and pulling out a book and paper. He slowly walked back over and held it out in front of me...

"Here, I'm a second year, so I have no need for this. Take it." He shoved it into my chest and urged me out of the room.

"Wait, wait! What's your name! I'm so grateful for you. Could I do anything to thank you?" I panicked as he started all but pushing me out of the ornately decorated room.
