Peter was walking to his third period when he came across a scene in the hall between History and Lit. Two older boys and an older girl were shoving around a girl he'd never come across before who looked about his age- that is to say 15. She must've been new. Peter couldn't just stand there and let them bully her.
"Hey!" He yelled, catching their attention, "Leave her alone!"
He said to the new girl, "C'mon let's get out of here." He led the way and she followed silently.
"Hey, what's your class?"
"English Lit with uh... Mr Benson?" Her voice was soft with a nervous edge to it- that was understandable, she was new.
"Hey cool, same, I'll show you where to go." She nodded.
"What's your name?" He smiled.
"Alexandra. Mirrel."
"Peter Parker. Nice to meet you. Wanna sit with me and my friends at lunch?"
"Uh sure." Her grey eyes flicked around.
"Soo should I call you Alex or-"
"No nicknames."

They sat next to each other in English Lit. It was break-time and Alexandra sat quietly reading a book while Peter & his friends chatted away.
