After School...
Peter met Alexandra at the bus stop. On the bus ride to his house- or rather where he lived, he turned to Alexandra.
"Hey uh," He said, "There's a few things you should know about my um family. First up, I'm an orphan. I lived with my aunt and uncle for a while, but then my uncle died in an accident. My aunt is too fragile to look after me so I live with Mr Stark."
"Who?"
"You know, Tony Stark?" She shook her head
"He's famous and a great guy too. Y'know he..." Peter told her about Tony the whole way and they almost missed the stop, but Alexandra noticed and they hurried off the bus. Peter had finally shut up about Tony and they walked a few blocks in silence before Peter walked up to the door of a massive tower and rung the doorbell.
The intercom started and there was a cheery female voice, "Hello! Who is it?"
He replied, "Peter and a friend from school."
"Okay, come in."
The door unlocked and Peter held it open for her. Alexandra smiled briefly before she resumed her usual nervous look. They went up an elevator and Peter led the way to an office. There was an assistant sitting at a desk.
"Hi Peter, here to see Tony?" She asked smiling- she was the lady over the intercom.
"Yes, tell Mr Stark it's me and a friend."
"Of course." She went into the room behind her desk and said something.
She came back out, "You two can go in."
Peter led the way into the other room. Alexandra followed nervously. A dark-haired man looked up from his desk as Peter said, "Mr Stark, this is Alexandra, from school."
"Oh, hello Alexandra. I'm Tony, nice to meet you. Peter's told me all about you- really he won't shut up—"
Peter was flushing quite red, "It's not true."
Tony ignored him and offered her a handshake, which she took. She glanced up at Tony, their eyes meeting before she flicked them to fix on the ground. Tony sat back down as he said bye and they left his office.
"Come on, let me introduce you to the others." Peter said.
"There's more?" Alexandra looked overwhelmed, but Peter didn't notice.
