13:01 (Friday- the day after the robbery).

Dan and I had decided to meet up for lunch at this small bakery nearby the coffee shop. Of course, all he wanted to discuss was the occurrence from the cafe. And of course, that was what I least wanted to discuss. I went up to the counter and ordered peppermint tea with a cheese danish, and proceeded to sit down.

"So..." Dan begun to speak, "I heard what happened... Like the robbery. Isn't it funny that it happened while you were taking my shift?" He rambled on.

"Dan, I'm really not in the mood to talk about it. Maybe later, yeah?" I spoke, with sympathy in my words, trying to make him understand. He nodded and sipped on his juice.

"Okay then, on another note-" He was interrupted by our waiter setting down the pastries on our table.

"Oh, wait, how the hell did you get over your sickness overnight?" I laughed, genuinely curious.

"I haven't: I've still got a stuffy nose and sore throat," he laughed nervously.

"Mhm, alright, sure. You better get well soon, I don't need another experience like the one last night," I giggled alongside with him.

The bakery was incredibly crowded, with people running in and out, so we decided that it was about time to leave. We finished up our pastries, and left a tip on the counter and headed towards the exit.

*Harry's POV*

I didn't know how to feel about the fact that I had to return to Kaffeine tonight. I had already been there two times this week, and both those times that girl was there. I wonder if she recognized me last night, it didn't seem like it.

I don't know why I didn't let Zayn just kill her, she could give away all of our alias's and Zayn's name. I don't doubt at all that she had already told the police everything about us. But had that stopped us before? No.

The one problem within all of this, is that I promised Zayn that I would take care of the issue facing us at the moment. Which was her- knowing his name and appearance.

I sighed, and threw on a pair of black skinny jeans and a white t-shirt, pairing it with brown boots. I looked at the clock and noticed it was almost 19:00. I didn't have plans to meet with anyone at Kaffeine until 20:30. I sighed and decided to go to our local spot. I drove towards Platinum, the bar we were always located at. I was 15 minutes opposite of the location of Kaffeine. I parked my black Range Rover along the curbside, stepping out and leaving all my belongings inside except for my cell.

I stepped inside the bar and was swiftly greeted by the waft of cigar smoke and alcohol. I looked around to see Niall seated by the counter, doing shots with about three females. I shook my head and quickly spotted Liam alongside his usual hook up, Sophia, they were sitting at one of the small silver tables. She had him so whipped, but neither of them could see it.

I remember when Sophia was new, we all had a round with her. She stayed around, clearly Liam liked her the most. But by our rules, you couldn't keep one to yourself. So, Sophia was still passed around. I think most of us had respect towards the budding romance between Sophia and Liam, so we backed off.

I scanned the area for Zayn; not seeing him anywhere, I proceeded to assume he was in one of the back rooms with someone. I sighed, and took a few steps towards Niall, deciding a few shots wouldn't hurt.

"Hey, Ni. Mind if I join?" I grinned, giving my best look to the three girls alongside him.

"Anything for you, mate! C'mon," He smiled, throwing his arm around me.

About four rounds later, I noticed the time was around 20:20. I set the shot glass down and gave Niall and the girls a look.

"This was fun, but I've got to go. Have fun, Ni, and it was lovely to meet you, girls," I smiled as I walked through the exit of the door.

*Scarlette's POV*

I dashed into the restaurant, being less than a minute late. I grinned at Dan once I saw him. The cafe was buzzing with around 15 people in it. I quickly grabbed my apron and ran behind the counter, aiding customers as quickly as possible. About four customers in, a quite lovely boy with bright blue eyes came up to order.

"Hi! Can I get a... Hm... Caramel macchiato?" he spoke.

"Of course, name please?" I asked, pulling out a sharpie and a small cardboard cup.

"Louis," He smiled, pushing his fringe towards the side.

"Okay, Louis, that'll be $4.99," I smiled, typing it up in the register. He handed me a $5 and proceeded to take a seat at the bar seating area.

A few minutes later, once the queue was cleared up I made all the drinks and brought them to the customers. As I was taking the caramel macchiato towards Louis, I spotted him having a whispered conversation with a curly haired lad who seemed fairly familiar. He had probably been to the shop within the last week.

"I have a macchiato for..." I paused to read the back of the cup, "Louis?" I asked. Eyeing the two boys. The curly haired one kept his head down, so I assumed Louis was the other one as I set it down in front of him. "Enjoy!" I smiled and headed back towards the counter.

*Harry's POV*

"What was that, mate?" Louis asked, taking a sip from his coffee.

"What?" I asked, confused over his statement.

"You know what. That was the one time you've passed up an opportunity to get with an attractive female. And I must say, she's better looking than most of the girls you go for," He spoke, in his high toned voice, slightly sassing me.

"It's nothing," I shrugged it off, and pushed my lengthy hair out of my face. Louis huffed.

"Does this have to do with yesterday's operation? Was she the girl you spared?" Louis read me like an open book, and after five years of friendship, this kid knew me better than my own family. I sighed.

"So she was..." He spoke. "Well, I mean, I can see why you spared her," He smirked. "I wouldn't mind having her around at Platinum," I shot him a glare. "No? But I mean... Look at her. Innocence radiates off of her like warmth from the sun. Wouldn't you like to be the one to take that?" Louis spoke, his tone lowering, as if trying to convince me of something.

"No," I spoke lowly, continuing my harsh glare on Louis, "She wouldn't fit in. She wouldn't be the type to change like the rest of them," I spoke, unknowingly defending her.

"Alright, mate. But I'd keep my eye out for her, because Zayn and the other boys aren't going to agree with keeping her out on the streets with her knowing your identities," Louis spoke truthfully.
