You arrived at your grandmother's cottage, knocking on the door before entering. Inside, you saw your grandma sitting in her rocking chair, knitting.

"Grandma, I'm here,"

You spoke, placing the basket on her table. Moving closer, you smiled as your grandmother raised her head to greet you with a smile.

"Oh, m/n...sweet child, how are you and your sister? And how's the bakery going?" Your grandma asked as you settled on the floor next to her rocking chair.

"Well, she's fine, and the bakery is running smoothly. Not many customers, but the business is holding up," you replied. Standing up, you scanned your grandma's house, deciding to help her by cleaning.

Time skip

An hour later, after finishing cleaning, you were about to put the bucket away when you spotted a familiar book you took it as you Dust it off and you were right it was the old fairy tale book your grandma used to read to you.

As you walked back toward your grandmother, you overheard her mumbling something.

"Grandma, everything okay?"

you ask worriedly, checking on her to ensure nothing is wrong as you remember the book you were going to ask

"Grandma, can I have this book?"

you asked, showing her the old stories book.

"Oh, that book... yes, sure, you can have it, sweet child,"

She replied after a few moments you said your goodbyes and began your journey home you Spending the whole day with your grandma, and you realized it was now 5 pm, and the night was coming

I was heading home now but I decided to stay in the forest a bit to read the book cause I know if I go back home sister will be on my ass the whole night I find a stable-looking tree as I saw under the tree I opened the book I remember the gem as I took it out of my pocket

I was looking still amazed by how beautiful it was I grabbed my necklace and took out the pendant and I tied the gem to the necklace to make sure that it was secured and would not fall out

I start reading the book as the moon starts to rise up
