Beloniil began to ride his horse Shadowmere through the thicket of the woods, but it was not till Morndas that he reached anyone. "Hello, why if it isn't Vilkas, and the companions!" Beloniil said shaking his hand. "Ah Harbinger! a pleasure." Vilkas greeted bowing slightly. "Have you seen a woman by the name Sorine Jurard or a man by the name Gunmar?" Beloniil asked. "Oh yeah, I remember seeing a young man asking for a bag of gears and that if she found them to bring them to Sorine Jurard over by the creek." Farkas said. "Thanks." Beloniil said walking to the stream. "Hello did you see a bag of gears? I bet the mudcrabs stole them" Sorine said. "Hello, i am with the Dawnguard, the vampire have come, and Isran needs your help." Beloniil said. "Ha! Now tell me about the one with crazed emperor and his magic staff! (Wabbajack.)" "This is no joke! vampires have destroyed the hall of the Vigilants... And now they have an elder scroll." Beloniil said. Sorine looked at him with a lot less disbelief. "Well... Okay, but you need to help me find my gears first." Sorine said. "Your gears won't matter if your a vampire by next Fredas." Beloniil replied. Sorine looked at him with complete loathing. "Fine. Where is it?" She asked coolly. "Southeast of Riften, and hurry." Beloniil said. Sorine left mumbling in anger. It was another two days until he found Gunmar who was handling some bears. "Ah thank ya!" Gunmar said as they overthrew a bear in a cave. "Might i ask your name and why you're here?" "My name is Beloniil and i was sent by the Dawnguard to find you Gunmar." He said. "Isran still working that camp? Ah well i do owe you for the help i'll go right now." Gunmar said walking southeast. Beloniil raced towards Dawnguard and found his way home faster then he hoped. "Ah your here good took awhile to find this place." Sorine said. the three went inside. "Hello Isran... What are you doing?" She asked him as he opened a sun roof. "Making sure you're not vampires... Never can be to careful." He grunted. "You! Beloniil! Come with me right now! And thanks Sorine and Gunmar, Durak the orc will show you around." Beloniil went with him to the other side of the palace. "Someone came over here while you were gone." He said. They went to a darkened part of the fort where there stood the last person he expected to see. "Serana!" He said. "Yeah yeah save the hugs and kisses for later." She said rolling her eyes. "I brought the elder scroll... I don't want the world how it became because of my people." She said. "So i brought the elder scroll." She pulled out the long white scroll. "Good! You know how to read it?" Beloniil asked. "No... No one does." Serana said sighing. "I know where we can go, i have a friend at the college of winterhold who can help us." Beloniil said. "But you can't make the trip with just that cloak, here." He pulled out some dragonscale armor and hand it to her with a helmet. "... You seemed light armor to me." Beloniil said shrugging. "No your right, i like it." She said admiring the armor she wore. "Here take this." He said handing her his best dagger. "Forged it myself, sharpened it... It's powerful enough to cut the bones of the creature it was made from like parchment." Beloniil said. "This... Is dragonbone." Serana said in awe of how sharp it was. Beloniil nodded. He led her outside to his steed. "You may still want to keep the cloak up i suspect." Beloniil said looking at the cloudless sky. "No... Luckily this helmet is fine for now." Serana said. "And thanks." They both mounted shadowmere (Beloniil blushed as Serana grabbed his waist.) and they kicked off.
