Faye woke up the following morning with a banging headache, she was resting her head on Kats chest, wrapped up in the sleeping girls arms. She brought her hand to her head and groaned as it throbbed from what she consumed the night before. The other girl stirred, wrapping her arms tighter around the small girls frame.

Faye pushed herself to sit up in the bed, flattening her hair down as she did.

"Morning." Kat said as she wiped at her eyes.

Faye smiled down at the girl who looked exhausted, "My head hurts." She complained.

"Well, thats what you get. You were wrecked last night." Kat laughed at the girls misfortune.

"I should get home." The brunette notified her friend.

She looked around the room for her phone but had no idea where it had got to.

"Here." Kat handed it to her from out of her coat she wore the previous day.

"Thanks."

Faye called her mom to let her know of her plans, "Hey mom." She spoke into her iPhone.

"Hey baby, how are you?" She responded.

"I'm good. Please can Kat come round today? We have that project to finish." Faye explained, hoping her mom would agree, seeing as their project was due in just over a week and they'd done nothing since the first class they had to work on it.

"Of course baby. Do you need daddy to come pick you both up?"

"No, can we walk home? We were going to get food." She explained.

"Yeah, of course. Be home before midday though, okay?" She compromised with her daughter.

"Okay, love you, bye." The phone call ended and Faye turned back to her friend.

"Come on then." She said as she grabbed her sweatshirt.

They left the black haired girls house, biding her parents goodbye on the way out and made their way into town. Fayes' house was close but they had to walk through the outskirts of the city to get there. They had planned to stop at a small pizza stop on the corner to pick up some food on their way.

When they entered the place, Kat held the door open for her small companion, causing her to blush slightly at the gesture. At the counter they were served by a small Italian man wearing an apron.

"What can I get for you girls today?" He questioned the pair in a thick accent.

Kat nodded towards Faye, as if to tell her to order first.

"Can I have two slices of margarita please." She asked politely.

The man nodded as he wrote it down, then looking back up at Kat.

"The same for me please." She responded.

Kat pulled out her purse and pulled out a twenty dollar bill.

"I'll get it." She said as she turned to the brunette.

"Thank you." The small one responded.

The girls stood at the other end of the counter as they waited for their food.

"So, do you think your parents will like me?" Kat broke the silence that had managed to surround the pair.

"Um, probably. They like most people."

Kat nodded slowly, unsure of what to say next.

"So did you think any of the guys from last night were cute?" The taller one teased.
