It's been one month since I moved into Sam's house. Amy has been pestering me to eat the food she has in the diet plan for the baby. Mrs.Andreson makes me food that I love. I love her cooking so much. Amy accompanied me in the house in the past month as Sam was away on a business trip. I took my mobile and called my sister Lily.
Lily: "Hey! Sis hope you well?"
Stella: "I'm good Lily what about you? Are you bothering Maria again?"
Lily: "Come on sis, Maria is my friend and I won't bother her she makes me good food and takes me out on the weekend she even buys me whatever I want"
Stella: "But still you can't bother her to buy things Lily and I miss you"
Stella: "I miss You too sis, How is the baby doing"
Lily: "The baby is fine Lily, I will meet you soon be good sis"
I disconnected the call. After a few minutes, I heard a knock in my room "Come in" I said the door swung open to reveal a masculine face and a familiar face the face of the man whom I had been dreaming about "Hey Ariel I hope you miss me" he asked and pull me into a hug and kiss in my cheeks and handed me a bouquet of jasmine. How does he know about everything I love? I pulled him into another tight hug and he whispered in my ears "What did you miss about me lovely?" he asked expressing things in an intimate manner "Your Smile, Your Touch, Your care, Your Kiss, and everything I like about you i missed that Sam!" I said and with a tender smile, he approached me his hands were on mine. He slowly guided my hands from his neck to his abs and kissed me tenderly "Is Amy home?" I asked him "I don't know I came searching for you as soon as I reached home lovely," he said and asked me "Can we go for a preg walk lovely" he asked me "Yeah! give me time to change" I replied and he asked me to be ready at 5:00 pm for a walk.
I went to the kitchen as my cravings were at their peak "Mrs.Andreson I'm hungry" I said
Mrs.Andreson: "I know Ms.Brown I have made some Smoothie for you"
Stella: "Mrs.Andreson you are a lifesaver"
When I was about to take a sip, Amy pushed the glass away from me the glass shattered into pieces her voice was so arrogant
Amy: "Stella, you can't have unhealthy smoothies while you're pregnant with our baby" shouted in anger
Stella: "Amy, you can't take control even of the cravings I have it's for the baby and you should respect my feelings"
Amy: "It's my baby and I'm Your boss I "m paying for you" she shouted again
Stella: "Drop your act, Amy, I know you don't care about the baby you just need the media to cover you on the television and be on the front page you just need publicity, Amy"
After hearing my harsh words Amy lost her control and raised her hand to hit me, Before I could react a strong hand preventing the escalation of the situation. His eyes were filled with anger his eyes were so red "How dare you! Hit the women who carry my child" He spoke with intensity, his words edged with anger "Sam....I was not gonna hit Stella" Amy said in fear "Stop it Amy, I have seen it all" but Amy managed to lie again. Sam didn't even hear her words he clasped my hand, together he took me to the park leaving Amy behind. He got the car door for me on the way to the park "I'm sorry Ariel I should not left you alone" he said "Come on, Sam I'm not 4 anymore" I replied "Yes! You're right but it's my responsibility to take care of you, and you're a baby with my baby" he said his words melt me everytime.
As soon as we reached the park we went on small talk, Sam didn't leave my hand he was holding it till the end and I asked him about our relationship "Sam, what do you think of our relationship now?" I asked he stopped walking and locked his eyes with me "I know Ariel, You would ask me this " he replied and He gently leaned down, his lips meeting mine in a soft and lingering kiss "Hereafter you won't be alone Ariel" he said, "Are you going to be with me?" I asked him in excitement. He smiled with joyful mischief, a teasing gleam dancing in his eyes "You can ask me straight if you want to spend time with me" he said "No, It...It was the baby who wanted to spend time with Dad" I replied with embarrassment. He smiled again "Okay if the baby wants to spend time then Stella Mummy can come and visit Dad anytime anywhere I'm available only for... her," he said with a laugh on his face
And we walked all through the park. Holding his hands reminds my father who used to walk me in the park holding my hands. I noticed a man selling cotton candy Sam got me the cotton candy and we walked happily by playing with the cotton candy. I see Sam happy only when he is with me. Am I selfish dreaming to live life? of Amy
