Mr Hanes POV

Wow. She had the most beautiful eyes. They seemed to draw me in, hypnotise me, making me want to get to know her. In fact everything about her drew me in, her amazing figure, her curly hair, flawless skin, and her beautiful lips. Ahh I have to stop this type of thinking. I would probably sound like a pervert if somebody could read my thoughts. She just seems so different, there’s something about her that seems to call out my interest. I must find out more about her. I wonder how old she is; at least if she is eighteen it won’t be that strange to want to get to know her that much would it?

“How old are you?” I asked cutting the building tension that is occurring between us.

“I’m seventeen” she replied as if saying it on command. She paused and just looked at me for a brief second before asking me how old I was. I was shocked by the curiosity behind her voice, she generally wanted to know, or at least I hoped she did, come to think of it she was probably just trying to make conversation.

“I’m twenty one” I answered back, doing the maths in my head. There are only four years between us. “How come you joined college this year and not last year like everyone else your age” I asked letting my curiosity get the better of me, there must be a reason for it, most people go straight to collage.

She stiffened and looked at me really uncomfortable, before stuttering out, “I-I had some I-issues that I had to get sorted out before I came to college.” Her vague reply only mounted on top of my curiosity but I could see she didn’t want to talk about it, so I decided to drop it and tell her about what she will need to catch up on instead. That still didn’t stop me wondering about her though.

Lucy’s POV

I’m so glad that he changed the subject. That could have gotten complicated otherwise. Imagine answering that. ‘I couldn’t go to college last year like everyone else because I turned into a vampire and would have killed you all.’ Wow I wonder what his reaction would be to that, I bet that would be funny.

He kept explaining all the things that I will need to catch up on, but I was just looking at him unable to take the information in. I started to slowly lean in to him, the temptation of his blood far too strong for me to ignore, then before I could do anything stupid I ran out as fast as I could, only realising once I was outside that I literally did run as fast as I could.

Ashamed at the little self-control that I had, I walked to the reception to pick up my time table. Along the way people stared and whispered about me, I tried not to listen but it was hard not to, the amount of roomers people were saying about me already without even speaking to me was amazing. Apparently I wasn’t paying attention as I walked in to something hard and cold. Within a millisecond someone’s muscular arms were wrapped around me and as soon as I looked up panic started to set in and I had no idea why but before I could do anything I blacked out.
