Leo's POV
Leo was having a pretty average day.
He was at Bunker Nine, working on a new project. They were phones for his friends to communicate with when they were away at different camps. Leo was adding the finishing touches to the new phones, making sure they were monster-proofed and personalized. Hazel and Nico's were the hardest to do. He had to make an entire tutorial video on how to use a phone. When he finished, he sighed, wiping the grease from other projects off of his face. He checked the time, which showed 8:54 PM.
"Shoot! I was here the whole day?" He said to himself.
I gotta get these to the romans! They're leaving day after tomorrow! He thought.
Suddenly, he smelled smoke. And this time, it wasn't coming from him.
He raced outside and saw a reddish glow not far from the woods. He took off towards the glow, and found someone being engulfed in fire.
"Frank? Frank!" He yelled, trying to help the guy.
He tried to pull Frank away from the fire, but something felt wrong. That's when Leo remembered: his driftwood.
"Oh crap! Where is it?" Leo started yelling. "No no no no no!"
Finally, Leo found it. It was now the size of a woodchip, laying in the dirt beside Frank, who looked too dazed to move. Leo put out the fire on the stick and started dragging Frank by the arm towards Bunker Nine. Unfortunately, Frank was heavy. and Leo was scrawny, not strong. Smoke started to fill his lungs, but he couldn't stop.
"Frank, you'll be okay, c'mon." he started muttering.
Black spots started dancing in his eyes, and his lungs and throat started closing up.
"You're safe." Leo whispered.
He managed to get Frank out of danger before collapsing on the ground, the numb of driftwood still in his hand.

When Leo woke up, he was blinded by the pure white walls of the infirmary. He shot up, looking around for Frank. When he found him, he gulped. When he turned back around, the rest of the seven were glaring at him.
"What'd I do?" he asked, growing afraid of the looks on their faces.
"You murderer." Those words slapped him in the face.
You diablo! Good for nothing murderer! He remembered Tia Rosa scream.
"What?"
"You tried to kill Frank!" Jason stated.
"Wha-No! I tried to save him! T-there was a f-fire a-and- you guys know I'd never hurt anyone, r-right?"
"It can't be a coincidence Leo! You've hated Frank since day one and now he and you were found near a fire? You were clutching his lifeline and his arm!" Piper shrieked.
"Y-you don't believe me?" He asked, in a much quieter voice.
"We don't have any reason to. All the evidence points to you. You, Leo, are a danger to this camp." Annabeth said.
"But-"
Percy sighed. "You are such a terrible person, Leo! You literally spend all day lazing around in that stupid bunker being useless! I hate you Leo!"
Leo froze. The voice came back to haunt him.
Ha, it sneered. Worthless. Useless. How many times have I told you Leo? They don't care.
He stormed out of the infirmary, and ran straight into Chiron, who sighed.
"Hello Leo. It's time to discuss your punishment."

A/N: Was it good? Sorry if anyone was being really OOC, it's just because they were shaken up about Frank's (almost) death.
Next Chapter coming soon! (In like, 2-3 days maybe?)
