They came for Kara three hours later.

At least, that's what it felt like. It was hard to tell time when you didn't know what time of day it was and no light.

Kara had a plan.

It all relied on them coming to get her. It was dangerous, and if J'onn were there, he would say it was almost stupid to do something so risky.

Kara stayed awake in her cell, moving the dirt around the floor to pass the time. She insisted to Barry that he sleep. It was going to be a long battle, but she eventually convinced him with saying: "One of us should get rest. I won't be able to sleep. My mind is too crowded right now with everything."

She didn't say what her mind was occupied with, but Barry knew she meant Clark.

The sound of an iron door opening caused Kara to jump. She's not usually so skiddish, but her mind had been wondering.

The sound must've woken Barry, for he was standing up now.

The door stood ajar, and Kara and Barry waited for one of their enemies to walk in.

But neither villian did.

Instead, two men in white lab coats strutted in carrying a silver brief case.

"Let's go over the plan one more time." Barry started, "When they come to get you, you will cooperate."

The scientist grew closer to Supergirls cell and bent down.

"Hopefully, with your cooperation, they won't have to drug you," he continued, "but Thawnes not an idiot so do you have a back-up plan?"

The men in white set the briefcase down on the ground next to Kara's cell. They punched in the password on the pad on the silver case and began to open it.

"Yes." Kara responded to his question. "If they have something with them to knock me out, I'm going to wait until my cell is open and the red sunlight is dimmed, then I'll attack."

They pulled out the same concoction they used in the beginning, incased in a syringe, and began to unlock the door. Kara made sure to pay close attention to the code that was punched in.

"Perfect. Ready to go home?" He asked his kryptonian best friend.

"More than ready."

She waited patiently.

The door opened.

The red sunlight diminished.

She backed away to one of the corners in her cell and waited until both men were in her cell and cornering her.

Then she struck.

Kara quickly knelt down and swept both men with her leg, knocking them off balance and making them fall. The blonde was gonna have to thank Alex later for teaching her that.

Kara punched both men on their temples, rendering them unconscious.

Barry watched everything unfold, praying to whatever God would answer and began to have hope for their escape as she watched the super fight.

He couldn't celebrate too early as he was still trapped in his cell. At that, Kara ran out of her cell and tapped in the code - 192381 - and the cell opened.

"Good work." He waved his hand where the door was for good measure and stepped through.

"We need to send a signal to the team and then find Clark." Kara instructed. She had a burning feeling in the pit of her stomach. She knew that the only reason they came for her was because Clark couldn't be drained anymore.

He's dead.

No.

She quickly erased that thought from her mind.

Kara walked over to her cell and closed the door, locking the now unconscious scientists up. Barry came over to her, and they both made their way to the iron door that remained agape.

During their captivity, Barry took notice of speed force monitors around the room and his cell. He noticed more now that he was out of his cell. That was the only reason the Scarlet Speedster wasn't using his speed now.

Barry thought it was Thawnes idea to keep him vulnerable.

Well, it worked. As much as he hated to think it, he was feeling the very opposite of invulnerable.

"We're never gonna get out of here." Kara breathed out sharply, hope leaving her body.

Barry put a hand of comfort on her should. Oh, how it felt amazing to touch another person again after who knows how many hours trapped in a cell.

"We just need to contact the team."

"Then Clark." The kryptonian clenched her jaw in anger and anxiety.

It was time to brave the storm.
