Soon it was time for lunch break
We went to the cafeteria to grab some lunch. People were staring at me as if they had never seen a pretty girl like me before. Some girls were glaring at me while the boys were gawking at me
I kept my face straight like the Ice Queen I am and sat down adjacent to Sophie.
"Khloe why do people call you the Ice Queen?" Sophie asked
"I don't really know" I shrugged.
We continued eating in silence
Being cold and scary is my thing because when you are scary people stay off your zone and respect you. I had no friends in my former school because people were afraid of me
I was still in deep thoughts when someone tapped me jolting me out of my thoughts.
I looked up to see who tapped me only to meet the gaze of a fair cute guy with pink lips and afro hair
"Hi I'm Feddy, nice to meet you". He said as he brought his hands forward for a handshake
I stared down at his hands not wanting to shake him but in order not to look rude, I accepted the handshake.
"I'm Khloe" I introduced myself and removed my hand almost immediately
"Nice name" Feddy commented
People in the canteen were shocked because they didn't expect the Ice Queen to accept Feddy's handshake. Looking at their faces, Khloe smirked inwardly. Giving them a show wasn't too bad
"Can I sit with the both of you?" Feddy asked with puppy eyes
"Sure, no problem" Sophie replied.
Almost immediately, there was total silence in the cafeteria. Noticing this Khloe looked up from her meal only to find the school kings walking into the cafeteria
"Wowwww they are so hot"
People were taking pictures of them as they walked in arrogantly. I was not surprised because students were with their phone. Like which rich kid wouldn't carry his or her phone to school.
Khloe just rolled her eyes and continued eating her food
It seemed she was the only one who wasn't affected by the presence of the school kings
Sophie was just blushing and Khloe noticed it.
"Sophie don't tell me you are having a crush on one of them" inquired Khloe
"They are soooo cute" Sophie replied
''Yes Madam'' Khloe rolled her eyes for the upteenth time
The one on the left is Romeo, the one in the middle is Ray and the one on the right is Richard. They are popularly known as the triple R.
Romeo is the King of Music, Richard is the King of Football while Ray is the Ice King, a big bully.
"Whatever!" I replied whilst snorting
"You mean you don't find them attractive? Are you even a human?" Sophie asked wide-eyed
"And why should I like them?" I asked back
Feddy just smiled.
Moments later, three girls barged in. They walked towards the table where the triple R were seating.
"That's Hailey, Hazel and Hannah. They are also known as the triple H. Hailey is their leader and she is the self proclaimed girlfriend of Ray" Sophie rolled her eyes dramatically
I smirked. Typical Nigerian high school story huh?
Suddenly there was a stampede in the cafeteria.
"What's happening?" I asked Sophie
She shrugged before she replied
"it's nothing"
"If it's nothing then why is there a stampede over there?" I asked pointing towards the direction were the noise was coming from
"It's Romeo again, He's bullying another student". Feddy replied.
Wtf!!!
I'm cold, I'm the Ice Queen but I can't watch the strong bully the weak. I stood up trying to go over to the direction where the noise was coming from but Sophie drew me back.
"Babe where are you going to? This is your first day, Don't mess with those boys especially Romeo; they reek doom".
I fought the urge not roll my eyes at her exaggeration.
