Chapter 1: Prologue

The area was wracked the loudly by tremors that shoke the city to its core. Large masses of debri & rubble were sent flying into the air,dust obscured parts of the area. Which was soon followed by the sadistic laughter of a certain cursed spirit. A figure would land upon the nearby rooftop of a building. Which was the executioner himself,Yuji itadori,who let out a sigh for a moment. Before abruptly blocking a fist directed towards his face,Yuji was abruptly sent flying into a wall from the strength behind the blow.

"At least entertain me for a little longer,brat!,unless.. the death of Satoru Gojo was for nothing.." Sukuna exclaimed with an amused grin,Yuji gritted his teeth in anger.

"Don't you dare you say his name." Yuji growled through his gritted teeth,sukuna's smirk only widened.

"Then make me,you weak brat!" Sukuna mused,Yuji rushed towards him at blinding speeds. Which then began a series of blows against one another,Yuji itadori would abruptly send a fist towards Sukuna's chest,which he blocked. His eyes would widen slightly... something felt quite off about that punch from Yuji. Their battle would shake shinjuku to its core,sending violent tremors through the area.

The opposing duo would slam into an empty area of the ruined city. Yuji would abruptly leap a few inches away from sukuna,who smirked.

"Don't tell me you're gonna retreat,I won't allow that!" Sukuna chided,rushing towards him to only stop himself,dodging a massive hammer,which was caused by the judge,Higuruma. Sending rubble into the air,Yuji took the opportunity,pebbles into a fine mass of pebbles with precision,barraging sukuna with a hail of stones. Sukuna was completely unfazed by such a pathetic attempt to damage him.

A fabric of some sort,was it... a tie? Would wrap around his right wrist that held the Cursed tool,Kamutoke. His right was abruptly yanked upwards by Higuruma. Yuji would abruptly send a fist towards Sukuna's chest,which was abruptly blocked by his 3 out of 4 of his arms. A familiar intensity would abruptly surge through Sukuna's body once again. His eyes would widen slightly as he maintains his blank expression upon his face.

"Was that....?" Sukuna thought for a moment,his four eyes would shift onto Yuji,who had an unchanged expression of determination on his face.

"Itadori!" Higuruma exclaimed to the teen as his domain began to take form.

"Domain Expansion: Deadly Sentencing....!!!" Higuruma's began to take shape as Yuji's mind began to sway,retracting back into his mind.

"We're having a retrial."

[Flashback]

"We'll appeal! we'll have a retrial that previous case and drag sukuna into it!" Yuji exclaimed. His eyes glanced at Higuruma,who placed a hand over his mouth,thinking about Yuji's. His eyes would widen slightly at the thought.

"...Deadly Sentencing chooses one of the three court tiers at random when prosecuting." Higuruma retorted,rubbing his chin with his index finger. This information had caught Yuji off guard for a moment.

"Gah!,then that won't work!" Yuji exclaimed with bewilderment.

They would continue to discuss how they could potentially utilize Higuruma's domain expansion to lessen or take away Sukuna's cursed energy. As one singular thought passed through Yuji's mind.

"Even if the chance is minuscule,I'll sacrifice everything to kill him.. even if it comes with the cost of my future.." Yuji thought to himself,his face scrunched in anger.

Yuji was abruptly brung back to present as Higuruma's Domain fully,which had the same scenery of a courtroom with guillotines surrounding the sides of the domain. Yuji itadori would stand behind one of the stands within the domain,his hands gripping the handles tightly,scowling at sukuna. Who was seemingly undeterred by the scolding stare. Judgeman would then abruptly appear behind Higuruma's back.
