"What do you mean, 'we're over?'" Suguru paced back and forth in his bedroom, holding the phone to his ear, angry beyond belief, "You're pregnant with my fucking kid."
"Suguru, I made a huge mistake--"
"What? Satoru cried sorry, and now it's all cupcakes and rainbows? Unbelievable," Suguru dropped his slippers on the floor and slipped his feet into them, "I gave you everything you needed. You told me about the way men acted within the jujutsu world. I thought I was different. I was born outside the jujutsu world and was taught how to treat women with respect."
"I've been acting immature, and petty, and I know you. Back in high school, you treated me the same way you treated Satoru. But now...it doesn't take a genius to know that you've been manipulating me."
Suguru groaned, "Have you had your first appointment already?"
"Yeah..."
"When's the due date?"
"Suguru--"
"When is the due date?" he repeated the question with an intimidating undertone in his voice.
"May 22nd, but they said they'll probably be inducing the labor because the baby is already really big."
"Right. When will that be?"
"They said around a week before."
"Does Satoru know I'm the father?"
There was a long pause from you. "No. I haven't told him."
"If you do tell him, do you realize what could happen to you? They'll execute, you and the baby. They'll stone you to death for being my little whore. You'll be publicly shamed--"
You hung up immediately.
Suguru laughed as you did. He knew none of that would happen. At most you might have your jujutsu license revoked for a week. But he was scaring you. He needed you to keep his identity a secret. If anybody found out, it would all go to hell.
