[DO CHECK THE AUTHOR'S NOTE]
I didn't want to post the Epilogue so soon on Wattpad but I had to do under certain circumstance.
Author's POV
The mansion was bedecked in beautiful marigold garlands and diyas. Every member of both the families were adorned in silks and jewels.
Today's the Namakaran ceremony of the lovely Rathore kids. The puja was being conducted lavishly at the centre of the house to bless both the twins with lifetime of happiness and prosperity.
Samyukta Abhimanyu Rathore wore a beautiful pink silk saree with green border while Abhimanyu Singh Rathore, matched her outfit with a beautiful green kurta. She had their son in her lap while he had their daughter in his, each dressed in beautiful pinks and greens matching their parents.
The son was peacefully asleep while the daughter was busy playing with the buttons of her father's kurta with her cute little fingers. Eventually, Abhishree being the sister of their father and hence, their bua was asked to name them.
"Chalo, ab Abhishree, namakaran karo."
(C'mon, Abhishree, now name the kids.)
Vasundhara Devi announced when the puja in the name of the kids almost concluded.
"Ji, dadi sa."
(Yes, grandmother.)
Abhishree stepped forward grinning, playfully.
Before she could proceed, Samrat interjected, pouting dramatically.
"Arey, mujhe bhi saath lo apna! Maine bhi toh naam chunne mein madad kiya."
(Hey! Take me along with you! I've also helped you in choosing the names.)
He whined making everyone in the room chuckle.
"Godi me leke jaun, aapko?"
(Shall I carry you in my lap?)
Abhishree spat causing a roar of laughter in the huge room.
Amidst the banter, Abhimanyu shifted closer to Samyukta with their little daughter playing in his lap. They both looked at each other and their eyes softened as they shared a warm smile with each other.
Everyone was having a joyous time throughout.
Abhishree cleared her throat, trying to bring everyone's attention back.
"Alright, everyone, focus! So...." She paused to savour the hope in their eyes and resumed, "Our little princess will be called Asamanya because I believe she'll grow up as extraordinary as ever and our prince will be named Samanyu- as splendid as Lord Shiva."
The family erupted into a heartfelt cheer, hugging each other.
"Asamanya and Samanyu..."
Samyukta's eyes sparkled with tears as she whispered the names under her breath.
Abhimanyu squeezed her hand gently. He leaned down to give a soft kiss to his son, deep in sleep on his mother's lap. And then, he reached Asamanya to give her a beautiful forehead kiss.
"My babies..."
Samyukta murmured, her heart overflowing with joy. A tear slipped down her cheek as she leaned in to kiss her sleeping son, Samanyu, who stirred at her touch, his small pink fingers clutching onto the edge of her saree and then, reached over to her daughter, Asamanya, pressing a loving kiss on her little forehead.
