The move..

Jades Pov...

Jade Sullivan Reves had always dreamed about having the most unforgettable bat mitzvah ever, she had everything planned out from the colors, to the people, to the theme everything was gonna be perfect
Well that was until she found out her dad was moving over seas for his job and that she'd be moving back to her hometown to live with her mom and brother.

Jade didn't know how to feel about this new found information it had been years since she lived there and yeah she had friends there but Jade hadn't spoken to any of them other than Stacy and Lydia since she was in fifth grade and at the time she wasn't to keen about the idea of having social media knowing how people on the internet could be so after her parent's divorce she moved and they lost contact she rarely visited there either her mom and brother always came to visit her knowing her dad couldn't often take off work long enough to take her to see them.

"Jade the cars all loaded you ready to head out" the girls father yelled up the stairs "yeah coming" she responded.
She indeed was physically ready but not mentally she was happy about now being able to see her mother and brother everyday but she didn't know how to feel about starting school again with people she hadn't seen in years. Jade often seen her brother posting pictures with them on social media so she somewhat remembered who everyone was but she wondered would they remember her. Although she was a little scared to reconnect with everyone the two people she couldn't wait to see again were her best friends Lydia and Stacy even after losing contact with everyone else she never stopped talking to them with their dads being friends and all they just never got to see each other so she couldn't wait for this little reunion.

"Finally" I said yawning and getting out of the car
It may not have seemed like it but I was actually so happy to be there after getting myself together I quickly ran to the door and repeatedly knocked on it. After a few seconds my mom answered and I practically jumped in her arms "jadee hun I missed you" she said hugging me back.
"Where's davey" I asked dragging my bags in the house "oh he's out with some friends right now but he'll be back before dinner" I just nodded my head and look around it had been so long since I stepped foot in this house I almost forgot how it looked.
I'd already said my goodbyes to my dad and he'd left my mom told I still had my old room and that I could decorate it however I wanted to I had brought all my decorations from my dads and I had ordered more before I left so I already knew what I wanted to do with my room I sat there listening to Ivy by Frank Ocean and started unpacking all my clothes and decorating the room.

After about a hour of sorting and decorating someone bust through my door it was my brother Davey startled at first I just stared at him but then I finally came to my senses and jumped up and hugged him. We sat around talking about any and everything while listening to music until my mom called us for dinner. We all sat around the table laughing and eating, after we finished we started cleaning up when my brother reminded my mom about the bat mitzvah the next day i was excited hearing this because it had been a while since I'd been to one and I'd be able to see my best friends for the first time in a while. I showered and laid down preparing myself for wha tomorrow had to bring.
