Shit... I forgot I had tutoring today.. You gathered your things and gently placed them into your tote bag. The halls were quite loud in the dormitories as it was after school hours. It would usually be less quiet during the school day since students were attending their classes. As you put on your hoodie, you heard someone call your name..
"Y/N, where are you going? I thought you were done with your classes for today..?" It was your roommate.
"Oh, Nilou! Sorry, I'm in a rush!" you responded back at her as you ran dashing out of the door. There was quite a crowd in the halls today.. You wondered what it was, but you didn't have time to. Finally, after you pushed your way through the crowd, you entered your professor's room. Your professor wasn't there but you noticed a familiar figure sitting at one of the desks with his legs crossed as he was reading a book.
It was the same individual from yesterday.. The same turquoise eyes stared at you like daggers. Maybe this is the wrong room..?
"Your late," the grey-haired man said with a nonchalant expression on his face. He stared at you menacing as you came to the chair in front of him and put your things down.
I guess this isn't the wrong room.. "Hi, we've already met, although I didn't have the chance to catch your name. I'm y/n, I'm assuming you're my tutor?" you said as you gave him a warm smile as he stared at you. I know I'm attractive, but you don't have to stare.. This guy is so rude..
"I'm Alhaitham, I'll be your tutor for the rest of this semester." He looked at you with a serious face.. His expression was quite hard to read. Suddenly, the door opens.
"Oh! I'm glad you two have met each other already!" It was your professor greeting both of you.
"Alright, y/n as you know, Alhaitham will be your tutor this semester. It was quite hard to convince him to tutor you! He's quite a smart one, you've hit the jackpot, y/n!" Your professor said as you nodded at her remark.
"Alright, I'll leave you two now. I have some other business to catch. See you tomorrow!" She said as she waved to you and Alhaitham. Now you were alone with Alhaitham and could finally ask him about yesterday.
"Want to explain yourself?" You asked him about the unintentional encounter yesterday and why was he so rude.
"Explain what?" he asks in confusion, yet he still didn't show the tiniest bit of emotion on his face.
