The 6 daughters of King Triton and Queen Athena lie on rocks above the deep ocean.
"So, did anybody see that Ariel might be the new queen to the throne after father steps ?"
Asked Arista
"What ? Ariel ? The new queen ? impossible. I am the heir to the throne, I'm first in line."
Attina scoffed
"Oh yeah sis, it's most likely to happen, I mean, isn't it obvious ?"
Said Andrina
"Excuse me ? What is that supposed to mean ?"
Attina smacked her clam shell mirror shut and placed her fists on both sides of her waste glaring at Andrina
"Can we not fight about this ? Only time will tell sisters, we should not be fighting over this. I don't know what's so great about being the new Queen of Atlantica?-"
"Everything !"
They all say in union cutting off Alana
"Who knows ? Maybe we will all be Queen and even have our own Merman Kings ! Maybe even you Attina."
Said Adella
"Why are you so interested in relationships so much Adella ?"
Asked Attina annoyingly
"Everything Attina."
Adella bluntly stated
"What does that even mean ??"
Asked Attina
"Hey ! Maybe if one of us gets married before Attina, then maybe that technically makes one of us Queen before Attina even though she's the next heir right ??"
Asked Aqueta

Attina, annoyed by her sisters' pathetic actions and teen hormones then rolled her eyes and scowled
"You know what, I'm going to just go for a swim and cool off some steam."
She turned her nose as she then leaned into the water and splashed them with her tail

"Oh, real mature !"
They all say in union
"...by the way where's Ariel ?"
Asked Andrina
"And also why did that even anger us ? We live underwater !"
Asked Adella
"Also be back before sundown ! Dad wants us back for a rehearsal of the show tonight!"
Alana called out to her

Attina was swimming just under the ocean floor as the sunlight reflected on her orange tail in the water. She is now a mile away from her sisters, but then heard a heavy splash in the water, as if something had fallen in. She at first thought it was another rock that had been thrown in by the humans at the beach, but when she heard where the fall splash came from, she looked up to her left.

"What?...is that a human?..."
She asked herself as she swam closer and saw he was just about to drown. Though he was already a few under water, she for some reason wanted to help him as she then swam all the way up and she came in contact with him.
It was in fact a human, and not just a human, but a man, in fact a handsome man she had never laid eyes on before. She placed both palms on the sides of his face, and turned his head over facing him. He had H/L H/C hair, adorable E/C pupils, and soft S/C skin. She pulled pieces of his hair bangs that covered his face, her cheeks turned red. But to her they felt like they were suddenly swollen. He wore tattered and ripped clothing, and looked as if he had been attached and throw into the water by someone as she placed her ear against his chest, she heard a pulse, then swam all the way up the water to shore in the more shallow water, or just by the giant rocks at the beach. She swam over behind a big rock out of view and laid him on his back against the rock, as she then hesitantly ripped his shirt revealing his chest, that caused her to blush even more, and she tried pushing her palms against his ribs, she had seen this technique done before on surviving sailors from crashed ships, so she thought she could do it. But after a few tries, he still wouldn't budge, though it was her first try. Attina then thought of another way to help him breath again, she had seen this technique done before too but, she didn't like too much because involved certain, mouth to mouth contact. But Attina gulped and thought there was no other way. Attina then raised her head up, and put her palms on his cheeks, and pulled herself closer, and closer, and then placed her lips onto his. She had hundreds of thoughts running her head like,
"What are you doing !?"
"Why are you kissing a human !?"
"How will Dad think of this !?"
"But I love him!.."
"Is he my king?..."
She completely ignored those thoughts and just preceded to save the man she adored at first sight. Until she heard him breath heavily and then started coughing quickly as she pulled her lips away with rosy cheeks.

The man came to his conscience, he opened his eyes with a blurry vision, but once he could see clearly, the first thing he saw was a beautiful woman hovering over him.
"Hello?..."
"...I..."
She stated to speak, but found herself speechless, as she had no idea what to do now, she's never been in a situation like this before, let alone even be this up close with a human. Attina then just pushed herself away and swam back into the water
"Wait!-"
Y/N then noticed her orange mermaid tail splash in the water as she left, and just realized he was miraculously saved by a mermaid.
"Y/N !"
His brother, Prince Eric, rushes to his aid, then he just remembered he had been attacked by pirates, as Eric pulled him to his feet by the hand.
"Thank goodness your alive ! What happened ?"
"I....I was saved."
"Saved ? Saved by what ?"
"An angel of the seas.."
