Chapter 4: Cooking Chaos

"I'm so hungry!!!" Lumine thought to herself

"Scaramouche wouldn't mind if I made some buttered toast, would he?" She thought

As she made the toast, the toast came out all burnt and messed up, suddenly the butter slipped, and fell on the floor.

"NO!" She gasped

"Now I have to clean all of this up," She said to herself.

After she failed to fully clean up the mess, she just decided to go to her room and chill.

"HUH!!!" There was a shout from the kitchen

"LUMINE YOU ABSOLUTE-!" Scaramouche shouted as he stormed to her room

"YOU DROPPED THE BUTTER?!!! THERE'S STILL SO MUCH MESS!!!"

"Im sorry.." She said, trying to make him feel sympathetic for her.

"Go clean it, NOW." He said, still mad.

As Scaramouche waited in her room, he decided to look at her phone.

*ding*

[Hey lumi! This is Aether, wanna head to my dorm later? I know we just talked but I wanna see you in person!]

"Oh? She knows Aether??" He thought

He quickly put down Lumine's phone as he heard her walk through the door.

"Why were you waiting in my room?" She said, sitting down.

"Well, I wanted to make sure you didn't dirty this room as well." He said, placing his hand down.

That place just so happened to be where Lumine's hand was.

They both shrieked

"AA!" He got up and ran off to his room.

Lumine was so embarrassed and flustered that she just flopped onto her pillow and screamed inside of it.

"WHY ME!" She thought sadly

"Well maybe it's not so bad.." "SHIT WHAT AM I THINKING!" She slapped herself.

Despite Lumine's embarrassing encounter with Scaramouche, she decided to shake off the awkwardness and focus on a positive distraction. Taking a deep breath, she composed herself and reached for her phone to respond to Aether's message.

"Sure, Aether! I'd love to visit your dorm later. Just give me a bit of time to clean up a small mess," Lumine texted, trying to sound nonchalant about the chaotic kitchen incident.\

As she waited for Aether's reply, Lumine sighed, realizing that her attempts to make a simple snack had turned into a bunch of errors. she returned to the kitchen to finish cleaning up the buttery aftermath.

Meanwhile, Scaramouche, still flustered from the accidental hand-touching incident, paced around his room, contemplating the unexpected turn of events. He couldn't quite shake off the thought of Lumine's interaction with Aether.

Back in the kitchen, Lumine managed to clean up the mess and salvage what was left of the burnt toast. Feeling a sense of accomplishment, she decided to head to Aether's dorm, leaving the kitchen chaos behind.
