I went to the living room and met a horrible sight. Emily was lying unconscious on the ground and her makeup were running down the cheeks. Her body was covered with burns and I saw a stake. I gave her blood and she opened her eyes.
"Cookie." said Emily weakly. "I'm here." I replied and stroked her cheek. She hugged me tightly and cried. I stroked her back and whispered comforting words. "Alex tried to kill me." sobbed Emily. "I'm so sorry." I said. "I just want to sleep." she replied. "You'll sleep honey." I said. I picked her up and walked back home.

"How's she?" asked Tim worried. "She's okay, but she needs to sleep." I said. I laid Emily carefully on the couch. Tears filled his eyes when he saw how badly she was injured.
