~Chapter 2~- jakes emo friend

( this one is very bad im sorry 💀idk what happened but I blacked out and started writing like crazy anyway enjoy 🤕)

NO ONES POV:

*In the hallway of Jake's place*

Tara has been invited to this BIG party with a bunch of her other friends. She has been begging y/n forever to come.

Y/N'S POV

"PLEASE Y/N." Tara begged "whyyy" I whine
"I just got here!" "Soooo? It would be good to meet some people. You know? Get to know all my other friends!" "What if they don't like me?"

I'm a big over thinker, I try not to think like this but it's hard when you've just arrived in your old state with brand new people. But after some more begging I give in.

"YAYAYYA" Tara yells. I sigh. Suddenly a door creeps open and a man steps out. He has black hair, messy but looked like it was styled at one point. He wore smudged black eyeliner around his eye. He was emo (DUH) but kinda of hot. (Real)

"what's all this noise" his groaned "Johnnie what did I say would happen if you wore your makeup to bed." Tara scolds "that my skin will fall of" he sighed. He rubs his eyes and we make eye contact. He looks half dead?, but lord is he hot.

"Oh hey." He said awkwardly "hi" I mutter. Tara jumps in and says "This is y/n my best friend in the whole world and this is Jake's emo friend" I giggle and look at Tara. I can feel his eyes scanning me but before I can ask him what his actual name is I'm getting dragged by Tara into her room.

"Tara I don't have anything to wear! How am I supposed to go? NAKED??" "HERE!" Tara pulls out a black dress with somewhat tight see through long sleeves. The dress wasn't too short but wasn't too long either. (You can imagine it how ever you want 😝)

"okay I'll try it on" I say Tara and I are somewhat the same size but I'm a slightly bigger size. Luckily this dress was kind of stretchy so I was able to squeeze into it.

I walk out of the bathroom and Tara jaw drops.
"You look stunning" she says flabbergasted. I turn to the body mirror and turn to the side. I run my hand over my stomach. " are you sure?" I say questioning if I should even go.

"Of course! you are gorgeous y/n" Tara says I give her a warm smile and she smiles back. I know she's not lying but my mind can't wrap around the fact that I pretty. Or am i?

NO ONES POV:

Tara does her own makeup and y/n's while y/n's does her hair. They both slip on high heels and walk down stairs. Downstairs Jake and Jake's emo friend are talking waiting for the girls.

JAKES EMO FRIENDS POV:

Jake and I talking and we both turn our heads to the sound of heels clicking against the stairs. Tara walks downstairs with a nice black glittery dress on. She always wears that one and I always wonder why. She said "sorry y/n's picking what perfume to wear." Suddenly a thump comes from Tara's room. "Y/N GET DOWN HERE ALREADY!" Tara yells

I like tara or whatever but I'm scared of her whenever we have to be somewhere at a certain time. She always hates being late, and she yells at us for just standing around. Typical Tara.

I'm fixing my shirt when I see y/n. I have no idea who she is but oh my god is she beautiful. She's wearing a black dress I've seen Tara wear a bunch of times, but on y/n it was different.

Y/N'S POV:

I walk down stairs and see that Jake Tara and Jake's emo friend were all waiting for me. "Oh sorry I didn't know you guys were waiting for me" I apologize feeling bad. "Nah it's fine but come on if we leave know we can get there on time."

NO ONES POV:

They all arrive at the 'party' house, Tara and Y/n walk in first. The lights are off but there are leds everywhere. Y/n guessed that it was someone's actual home rather than a 'club' or bar.

Y/n scamed the room to see if she knew anyone there. She didn't always live in LA, when she was in 3rd grade her family had to move to LA for her dad's work. She lived in LA for 5 years then had to move back for the rest of high school and college. But she was glad she was back.
