Douma: stfu
Akaza: yeah.
Kobushi: thats right Douma! It's almost 2024! So exciting!
Shinobu: what should we do to celebrate?
Mitsuri: let's all meet up!
Douma: yeah!!
Douma: we could watch fireworks!
Akaza: agreed. We are going.
Muzan: doesn't sound so bad..
Kobushi: yeah! Let's do something different..
Everyone logs off..
"Shinobu! Over here!" Kobushi calls out to shinobu. She smiles as she watches her girlfriend run towards her. "Ne ne this is exciting!"
"I agree!" Mitsuri says, jumping high in the air. "Hmhm.. whatever.." iguro says, his snake sounds like he agrees?
"Am telling you akaza-dono! This isn't a bad idea!" Douma sighs, he noticed the little group. "Oh, hi guys!" Akaza huffed. "Sup." He said in a cold voice. The blond man looked at him with annoyance. "Come on Hun! Be happy! It's the new year!!!"
Soon later, everyone is here. The upper moon's and hashira's. "Guys! Come on! The fireworks are gonna start!" Daki says in a hurry. Kaigaku stares at her and grins. "Hey.. aren't you grounded?" Daki gasps. "whAAA? ME? GROUNDED? PPPFFTT AM TO PERFECT HAHAHA-" Douma pats a hand on her shoulder. "I let her out since it's new years. But as soon as we're home. Straight to her room!"
Daki pouts but it's immediately Intrupted when she starts to hear bangs. As fireworks if ignite the dark sky, filling the void with powerful flowers shapes, and explosions. Putting a light in everyone's eyes as they stare with amazement. Akaza smiles at the beautiful sight. He loves the fireworks.. they are so beautiful. Douma put his hands together, putting his head on the lower ranks shoulder.
(He shrunk himself to akaza height btw)
"It's beautiful.." giyu whispers with light in his eyes.. giving his ocean blue eyes a reflection. Sanemi agrees. "Yeah.. just like you." He whispers back. Giyu giggles very quietly. "That was cheesy.."
"Whatever!" Sanemi blushes. And turns his head away. Kobushi grins at the sight. She can't forget the wonderful times they all had.. every memory brought a smile to her face. More memories remind her. That there's more to life then just killing demons.. death.. sadness. Nor isolation. She starts to regret isolating herself from her family. She wishes she was kinder to her sister.. she wishes she spoke more and wasn't so rude.. she regretted everything bad thing she done.. she regretted the last thing she said to her family.
"I HATE YOU! AM LEAVING." Kobushi slammed the door. "Wait sister!!" Her younger sister tried to chase after her. But her mother stopped her. "It's okay.. she'll be back.."
The memory brought a tear to her eyes. She hated her self.. how could she? After everything they done for her.. that's how she repays them?
"Mom! Sis! Am back! I-" Kobushi saw a blood pool by her front door. She gasped. And quickly ran inside.. but she didn't expect the horrors she'd witness.. "MOM!!!" she ran to her mother's dead body. It was terrifying. She looked to the side. "KISHA!!!" she cried as she ran to her sister's side. "No! Please!! DONT LEAVE ME!! PLEASE!"
"PLEASE!!"
"Kobushi? You alright?" Douma asked in a worried tone. "O-oh? Am alright." He didn't seem to convinced. "Your crying.."
"Oh? Oh no, those are just.. happy tears.. am just happy for all the good times we had!" She made up a convincing lie. "Alright.." Douma wasn't stupid though. He saw right through her.
The fireworks ended with a loud bang. The group clapped with joy. "That was beautiful!!" Mitsuri exclaimed with excitement.
"Yes. I agree! Now, I have a little thing I want to say."
Kobushi smiled.
"I just want to thank you all, yes you, You! You reading silly! I want to thank you! All of you. You have helped our writer so much! Just by reading. You have supported her so much! And am grateful! Even though am a fictional character-"
Kaigaku: "Wait what-"
"AHEM. As I was saying. Even though am fictional. I know how much you all help my creator. You all bring a smile to her face. Also thanks for the reads!"
"And before you ask, yes author-chan gave me permission to break the Fourth wall!"
