Where am I...

"Ah, you woke up!" I raised my head and looked towards the source of the voice.

"Oh? Have I startled you?" A young boy, a face that might have made him the center of attention if he was at my school before. Blonde hair that shone like sunlight, and a robe too big was draped on him in a way that made me think he was a child playing with some elder's robe. But it also suited him in a way I couldn't quite put my finger on.

As I looked at myself, I realized that I'm wearing something similar to the boy. A robe without a stain.

I looked up, and saw that the boy was examining my robe as well.

"You're the purest and most innocent soul I've ever seen so far. There's literally no stain on your robe."

I stared at him. He... doesn't look like a bad person. Should I ask him where I am right now? But as my gaze met up with his, I immediately looked down. It has become a habit of mine. I'm not deserved to face anyone. All because I'm someone that doesn't even deserve to be someone.

"Hey? You good?"

Mustering my strength, I nodded. Mother will be mad if I get home too late. And Hina will want me to do her homework.

Taking a peek at the boy, I lowered my head once more. He looks like he'd be perfect with Hina. They both have this aura of radiant light around them. The only difference is. He gives off a warm, almost peaceful feeling. Hina though... she's like fire, burning everything into black smithereens, into dust that will disappear with a light blow of breath.

"Oh, so... I'm God..."

Unwillingly, I immediately looked up. This time, with more enthusiasm I guess. And he looked at my face with this uncomfortable look.

With a whisper, barely audible to the human ear.

"But, you don't look like God."

The boy ginned rather apologetically and scratched his cheek with one finger. My focus gradually went to his slender fingers and smooth and jade like hands. Realizing that it wasn't polite to gape at someone's hands, I quickly averted my eyes.

Before I started to lower my head once more, the boy quickly waved his hands in front of my face, most possibly to get my attention.

"Just sayingggg~ You don't realize you're in the Realm of Dead I suppose. The Death God was supposed to handle you, but they had to leave on urgent business. Luckily for me, I got to get a glimpse of the purest soul in about a century."

I bit my lip and looked at my feet. He sighed, possibly due to my shifting focus.

"So, as a reward for being the purest soul I guess. Want to make a wish? I promise it to be true in your next life! I always keep my promises."

"Oh! And don't wish for anything too extreme, I was just playing basketball with The Death God. AND I LOST!!! Can you believe it?! I swear they were cheating just so I have to pay for our next meal. So my stamina is running pretty low right now. Any extreme wishes might put me in a coma."

Still biting my lips, I used my very very tiny voice and uttered one wish that I so so so hoped it to be true.

After uttering my wish, the boy smiled. And showed me to a door in the distance.

Only just now that I realized that I've been standing on a cloud looking place and this wasn't my apartment home anymore.

Looking up at the boy one last time, him with a genuine smile on his face.

"Bye Tsuki, I hope you will have a better life!"

Somehow, I grinned. His words seemed childish, but they were true.

Without looking back another glance, I walked through the door, leaving my past filled with misfortune and sadness.

A/N: Hi everyone! I just wanted to comment on the picture on top of this chapter. It's actually an image from a Manhua I've read. It's super good! I put it there cause that's what I imagined Tsuki to be like. And if you're a fan of Manhuas, you can read it, it's called 'My Phoenix's on Top'.
