CHAPTER 39

Moonbyul POV

A week later.

"Honey, I'll go to the office first. Breakfast is already on the table. Make sure you eat breakfast and take vitamins." I said to Yongsun which is still in the shower room.

"Okay, baby. Thanks."

"I'll take Yoonjae with me and send him to preschool. You don't have to rush." I added.

"Thank you Byul!" She shouted from inside.

"Be careful. Call me when you safely arrive at the office..." I said.

"Will do, baby. Bye!"

After bid goodbye, I started the car engine and slowly driving since it is still early in the morning. I stopped by at Yoonjae's preschool to drop him off and headed to the gallery. Wheein and Hyejin will be coming back from Hawaii today. She texted me that she will be in Seoul this evening and rejected my offer to pick them up at the airport saying that it wouldn't be necessary. I just let them be as if that what they want.

I've been handling the gallery on behalf of her for a week since she takes a long leave for her wedding and honeymoon. I even didn't have time to go on a date with Yongsun. I know she is upset, but I couldn't do anything since I've been busy on this season alone. I sure I will make up with her as soon as I can to make her feel at ease.

After finished my work today, I pick up Yoonjae at preschool and went to nearest restaurant to have lunch together with him. After lunch, I brought him to the gallery. It happened almost every day since I'm so lazy to send him to the nursery.

Actually, Yongsun has keep nagging at me every day about this, saying that we paid for nursery to take care of him after preschool but end up, I brought him to the gallery with me. I'm just listening to her nagging without giving any reactions because I know if once I opened my mouth, she would strike me with another unpleasant topic to hear. So, I just let her be. I know she would calm down in a meantime.

While I'm busy organizing the files, my phone rang. I answer the call after look on caller ID.

"Hi baby..." I greet her.

"Byul, you come home early tonight?" She asked.

"Maybe. Why?"

"Can you come home early?"

"What for? Is there anything special?" I asked as I saw Yoonjae is happily running around.

"Do you really need reasons to come home early?" She sarcastically said.

"I'll be home at 7 pm, princess." I said, not wanting to argue with her.

"Good. I just want to have a decent dinner with you and Yoonjae tonight. So, I shall see you at home?" She asked.

"Okay, honey. Where are you? Are you still at the office or you already on your way to go home?" I asked as I put the files back in to the cabinet.

"I'm on my way. I want to cook something special for you guys."

"No, you don't have to. I will come back home as soon as I can to cook dinner for you..."

"No, I insist Byul. I want to cook for you and Yoonjae tonight."

"Okay, if you say so. Drive safe and I'll see you soon okay?". I said.

"Yes baby, I love you."

"I love you more, honey..."

After bid a goodbye, I hung up.

"Yoonjae, let's go home baby. Mummy is already waiting for us."

Yoonjae came and pack his cute little bag before we headed back to the house after I brief my staff to close the gallery early than yesterday. After 20 minutes driving, I parked my car at the parking lot and turn the engine off. We smelled something good from the kitchen as soon as we entered the house.
