CHAPTER 37

Moonbyul POV

A week later.

We were already in the car to go travel to Jeonju. Wheein and Hyejin were already booked a hotel room for us to stay for 3 days before their wedding. Magically, Yongsun's boss approved her leave for 5 days. I can't believe it at first but I need to keep my promise to her to go to Jeonju earlier to tour around the places and hunting famous foods of Jeonju.

"Let's go." I said after fastened the seatbelt.

"Baby, I can't wait to taste their original tteok-galbi. My mouth is already watering." She said as she swallowed her saliva.

I chuckle as I seeing her excitement. I can see her mouth is watering now. For the whole week, I've been listening to the list of her cravings. So, I guess I need to fulfill it as soon as we arrive in Jeonju. Meanwhile, Yoonjae is already busy watching cartoons using my iPad at the back.

"Honey, just sleep. I will wake you up after we safely arrived in Jeonju." I said.

"It's okay, babe. I can accompany you while you are driving. Plus, I'm not feel sleepy at all." She smiled.

"Okay if you say so."

After almost 3 hours of travelling from Seoul to Jeonju, we finally arrived in front of Hyejin's family house. Her families greet us warmly and let us get inside to have a decent lunch before we headed to the hotel that Hyejin already booked for us to stay.

After lunch, Yongsun and I decided to have a little walk around Hyejin's house areas. Yoonjae is still in Hyejin's house as her nephew and niece which is same age as Yoonjae were there too. They played by themselves after lunch and let us have a peace afternoon.

"Are you okay?" I asked as I caressed her back.

"Yeah, little bit tired. Can we sit there?"

I held her hand till we reached the bench under the tree. We sit there for a while staring at the green paddy field.

"It is so calm here. I can feel the fresh breeze compare to the Seoul City." She leans her head on my chest.

I nodded as I agreed with her. I pull her closer to my body and kissed her forehead. I caressed her back while listening to the bird chirping and singing around us. It feels so calm here. I would rather stay here than Seoul City on our retirement days.

"I love you, Byul..."

"Why?" I asked.

"What do you mean why?" She tilted her head and faced me.

"No, I mean you are so random Yong..." I nervously smiled.

"I can't be random with you?" She asked as she looks confused.

"No, I mean...." I swallowed my saliva.

She frowned. "You killed the mood."

"I love you too..." I carelessly take her hand.

"Yeah, I bet you do." She sarcastically said and takes her hand off mine.

When she slowly walked and left me behind, I knew I screwed up.

"Honey, I didn't mean it... I mean..." I tried to explain.

She walked towards Hyejin's house and went inside, leaving me behind all alone.

'Urgghh, what the fuck did you do, Byul!!!!' I scolded myself.

A minute later, Yoonjae came out and hug me.

"Dada, can we go to the museum today?" He asked.

"Baby, we have plenty of time. We can go there tomorrow morning. Today, we will rest at the hotel room first before we start touring auntie Hyejin's hometown." I said.
