Opposites Attract: Mattheo Riddle x Y/N Potter

After class, it was finally lunch. I walked down the corridor and saw Y/N. I hid partly behind a pilar, so she could see part of me. I peeked over my shoulder to see her coming over to me. "hey... Mattheo. can I talk to you please?" I take his hand and lead him into a corner. "Whats up, I thought you only wanted to talk to me at night." I said, sounding a bit annoyed. "I had a long talk with Hermione, and I think it's time we became public. even if it's only been a week or so. I'm ready. I promise." "really Y/N? Are you sure?" "If I wasn't sure, would I do this?" She grabbed my hand and led me into the great hall. Oh god, what's she gonna do. She sat me down at the Gryffindor table, and kissed me right at the table. Everyone gasped and looked at us. Then started clapping. "why is everyone clapping?" Y/N whispered into my ear. "I dont know..." I responded. after we all were all done eating, I heard footsteps behind me and Y/N, Isee her look back to see Draco following us. He runs up to me, and tries to push me, I cover my face fast, expecting to feel a hard punch on my cheek. But I feel nothing, so I look around and see Y/N laying on the ground, a black bruise already forming around her eye. Oh no... I started to panic, I had no idea what to do. so I started calling for help, "HELP! Someone help!" I called out, Y/N's head resting in my lap. Finally Hermione came running towards us. "What happened Mattheo?!" She frantically asked, feeling Y/N's pulse. "Okay shes alive" Hermione reassured me. "WHY WOULDN'T SHE BE ALIVE! SHE'S JUST KNOCKED OUT!" I yelled at her.  "IDK!" Hermione yelled back. "Hermione... did you really just say IDK instead of I don't know..." I sighed. "Anyway, Professor McGonagall, should be here soon."She said. I looked around, and say Professor McGonagall turning the corner. "Mr. Riddle, what happened?" McGonagall asked, taking Y/N's head onto her lap. "Malfoy was coming in to punch me, but she jumped in front of the punch, and the next thing I knew, she was on the floor." I told her. "Okay, let's get her to the hospital wing. Miss. Granger, get to class please." Hermione looked at me, and mouthed "stay with her" I nodded. 

*IN THE HOSPITAL WING*

I looked over at Y/N, and she looked so peaceful. "Mr. Riddle, you may go if you like. She'll probably wake within the hour. You can visit her then too." Madame Pomfrey said. "can I stay with her please, until she wakes up." I ask hopefully. Madame Pomfrey nodded at me. "as long as you aren't disrespectful." I nod, and turn back to Y/N, taking her hand. I heard the door open, and looked over. I stood up when I saw Malfoy enter. He walked overtop beside Y/N's bed, and sat down. "What are you doing here, Malfoy." I sneered. "Coming to check on my future wife." He laughed at me, and licked his lips.  I lunged at Malfoy, but something pulled me back. I looked and saw Y/N. I stopped, and bent over and I kissed her. She looked up at me, and smiled. "what's Malfoy doing here?" She asks me."I don't know, but what I do know, is that he's just leaving. " I look at Malfoy, and grab his robe, and get him out. I go back to Y/N, and sit next to her. She sits up and wraps her arms around my neck. "When am I getting out of here?" She asks, kissing me. "I'll go ask Madame Pomfrey right now." I winked, and went and got Madame Pomfrey. "well, you seem fine, I dont see why you can't go today." I helped Y/N pack up her things,and we left to the Great Hall for dinner.
