Stalker

Henry walked a distance away behind her, crossing the road with other pedestrians with his cap on and a mask. He tailed her whilst trying to keep a low profile–like a creepy stalker. The British actor kept his watchful eyes on the small woman–not hard to do, since he was taller than most people.

She got into a bus and he followed, sitting about three seats behind her. When the bus pulled over, he watched her get out and as he was about to exit, the bus driver stopped him and began ranting to him in Bahasa Indonesia, which he had no understanding whatsoever. Puzzled, Henry immediately pulled some Indonesian bills and offered it to the guy as payment, but that too was declined. The driver gestured rather comically; turned out he had to pay with a card. He pulled out his credit card, and the guy shook his head and ranted some more. Just when he was about to panic internally, for not being able to pay bus fee and for losing Eliska, the girl climbed into the bus once again, and with a scowl on her face tapped her own card so that he can get off with her.

"Stop following me, Henry," she glared as she walked forward.

"You want me to follow you," he replied with a small smirk behind his mask, "If not, you'd have left me fumbling with myself in the bus."

"I shouldn't have pitied you."

Henry scoffed at that.

Lika pretty much ignored him and acted as if he didn't exist after that. He kept on following her, closely this time. The small woman led them to a rather sad neighborhood, and Henry couldn't stop his curiosity.

"Where are we going?"

"Work," Lika suddenly turned and almost bump into Henry's rather large chest, "You need to leave me alone, Henry. Go home. I can't work and babysit you at the same time."

"I can take care of myself. I just want to see where you work."

"No. If you come where I work, I will disown you and tell everyone that I don't know you."

"I probably deserve that."

"And you're sticking out like a sore thumb still," Lika added, her eyes annoyed as she eyed him. Even with a cap and a mask to hide his identity, Henry still looked like a fine white specimen amongst the Indonesians. That fitted grey t-shirt he wore wasn't helping.

"Go."

"No. The fact that you have a work here worries me. This neighborhood doesn't seem very safe."

"On the contrary, Indonesia is much safer than most countries in Europe or America. Oh hey, is that Morgan?" Lika pointed out to someone behind him.

Henry raised his brow and turned, letting his eyes search the pedestrian walk across them. "Where?"

"There, the guy in blue shirt. See??"

"I don't see him."

When Henry turned, his stomach did a somersault when he realized that Lika had again, played him with a cheap trick just so she could escape him. He was lucky that he saw her just a moment before she disappeared behind a small building, or else he'd lost her completely.

"You little–" he cursed under his breath and began running after her.

If Eliska Denali was a dog breed, she'd be a Shiba Inu–an escape artist. He lost her during one of the chase down an aisle in a dirty slum. Only when he heard the sounds of children speaking in broken English then he managed to find and saw her entering what looked like a small, sad clinic after greeting the children playing on the street and giving them a hug.

He entered the clinic, but when he was about to follow her, an Indonesian lady came and stopped him.

"Saya datang duluan, ngantri mister! (I got here first. Get in the line, mister!)" The lady reprimanded him with an annoyed look on her face. Puzzled at what she was saying, the lady pointed at a book near the door to the doctor's office.
