Submit Yourself to God
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

When we become aware that we have reentered the world's route, what should we do? This line introduces James' response, which is to once more surrender to God. Give up trying to acquire what you want and humbly accept all the blessings He sends. We must give up the fight to fulfill our personal desires and focus on serving Him instead. Humble people yield to their commander in chief. We can drive the devil away by pledging our loyalty to the Lord.
We acknowledge both His omnipotence as God and our inferiority as creatures. We submit to the Almighty God because His plan is the best one for us because He sees everything from beginning to end.
We all fail at some point in our life, but God is with us at every point. Remember that failures are temporary and God is able to raise you up again.
