Moon started to take notice of sun's sudden disappearances during nap time and later there being lack of staff or missing people , it concerned moon a lot and made him curious on where sun was going so he was gonna follow him.

Right after nap time moon immediately went to follow sun , He removed his bells that's what moon noticed odd about his appearance, He followed sun to see him stand out side of a staff break room were the staff member [REDACTED] was napping. Moon hid behind a near by wall , but then sun swiftly hid in the shadows because the [REDACTED] was leaving. Right after [REDACTED] went out and soon went to the direction of the theatre while sun waited.. It was definitely not like sun. Moon thought of checking sun's code and maybe asking him about the missing posters..
Sun creeped behind the staff member and quietly followed them to the theatre and the bells being gone was convenient so he'd wouldn't make unexpected noise.
Soon the two were in the theatre and the doors closed.. and after 22 minutes moon hesitantly opened the doors to find sun.. Taking bites out of the lifeless staff member , Moon was terrified and somehow angry "how could sun do this!" But he also blamed himself "why didn't I see it sooner!" Moon finally croaked a word out of instinct and terror.
S-Sun..?
Sun then stopped he looked at moon dropping the body with blood everywhere with cleaning supplies near him to clean up the mess , But sun looked at moon in pure terror, and fear , He was caught he immediately pushed the staff member away and stepped back before he could run.

Moon chased sun and grabbed him by the arm

The two brothers were silent for the next 4 hours before moon did research on sun's history maybe to find scraps of hints of sun was supposed to be.. until a name popped up..
