The abyss warriors are basically monsters that take on human forms to the princesses of the abyss task in Teyvat. And each of them correlates to one of the seven deadly sins.

Skirk, number 3, the Abyss warrior of wrath.

Skirk was known for having a calm face all the time, but having a constant storm of rage in her at all times. She was not easily impressed or interested in things. Though that changed the day she saw this small human boy take down an abyss creature all by himself. When she approached him he didn't run away or start to cry or anything. All he did was ask a question, "Can Stars be killed?" And perhaps sense Skirk was cursed with this immortal life, she smiled and answered, "Yes, shall I show you how?"

Yuki, number 5, the Abyss warrior of sloth.

Yuki was known for cutting corners, not taking on extra work, never doing more than the bare minimum. So when Skirk asked him to watch this small sleeping child he was relentless when he had to take care of him. One of the only interesting things that he does in Teyvat is to watch people's dreams. So he looks at this sleeping child in his arms. The child dreams of a family that he hopes to return too. "Hmm, the abyss would have fun tearing you apart, but I guess I won't let that happen."

Rosari, number 7, the Abyss warrior of gluttony. Sairo, number 4, the Abyss warrior of envy.

Rosari and Sairo were similar in many ways they both seemed to want what each other had and always wanting more and more. So it was inevitable that they were demanding that they get to spend time with the child who every one in the abyss castle was talking about. "Sairo that's not fair you been hanging out with him more than me." "No I haven't you're just boring and he likes me more." And in-between the two arguing people was very confused child.

Kazukino, number 6, the Abyss warrior of greed.

Kazukino liked to have the most of everything, no matter what it was. The most mission complete, the most human object, anything and everything, and that includes time spent with the human child. It wasn't uncommon to see Kazukino with the child if he wasn't with Skirk. "How does this one look" "that's the same necklace that you just showed me." "Oh your so right I have 7 different ones of this same necklace." Let's just say the kazukino sure keeps his busy.

Maple, number 1, the abyss warrior of pride. Atlas, number 2, the abyss warrior of lust.

Maple and Atlas were the oldest of the abyss warriors, they were the first to serve the princesses and have seen the most things. But to see a human child survive in the abyss as long as this one has was a surprise. If any human fell into the abyss they were usually adults and never lasted that long. So it wasn't a surprise when her majesty asked them to bring her the child.

Lumine the abyss princess

It was know by all in the abyss that there were only a few things the abyss princess holds dear to her heart, her brother, Dainsleif(no matter how much she denies it), her abyss warrior, and now it seems this child that's tug at her abyss warrior heart's that is if they had any. Lumine stared at the child in front of her for a minute before speaking, "Ajax, number 8, the abyss warrior of melancholy. I say that fits you well." His experience did not change much, but she expected that the abyss changes people usually only for the worst. "If you ever find that you don't call Teyvat your home just know you will always have a room to stay here in the abyss. Now it's time for you to go back to your family, I wish you the best of luck." Lumine watched as the child stepped to enter the portal back to Teyvat before he turned around and said "thank you!" Before he ran into the portal and it closed. "I see, I suppose he's more human than I thought."
