'Is the guy that was bullying me a few hours ago apologizing?', I asked myself in my thoughts. "So do you accept my apology?", he asked. "I'll think about it", I said. Turned, and immediately walked away. "Damn it. Did I really have to laugh. The paintings weren't that bad", he said to himself while smacking his head.
I got home, "Anyeong Appa. Anyeong Amma. I'm back from school. If you need me, I'll be upstairs", she said, "Okay. Dinner's by 7", said Mrs. Kim, "Okay Mum", I replied. I got up to my room and immediately fell on my very soft bed. I turned and saw my computer on my reading table; then, I got an idea.
I decided to post the flyers online too. Only those around Seoul could see it. After that, I went to freshen up. When I came back, my computer was beeping with comments. I thought people were interested. When I checked the comments, all I could see was:
'I wish you the best', 'Nice', 'Cool', 'Hope you find who you need' and 'WHY THE HECK WILL YOU BE WASTING YOUR TIME ON THIS CHILDISH NONSENSE!'. I decided to delete the flyers.I fell back to my bed and picked up my phone, I went to my "Line" app. I began to chat for a while. Until, I got another beep, "I deleted the flyer. How am I still getting comments", u said while getting off my bed to check it out. "Oh! It's a message from 'Sunflower'?", I said. I read the message and it said:
~Hi. I'm Jeon Hoseok. I saw your post about the flyers. I'm not much of a singer. But, I'm an amazing dancer. Before I could finish reading it, you deleted it. I know you have your reasons, but, can I get the audition date? 😀😊~
~Hi. I'm Kim Jia. Ofcourse you can get the audition date. It's by 10am on Saturday. The venue is Seoul Community Theatre~
I texted him back.
~Okay. Thanks. I'll be there~
He replied immediately as if he was waiting for my text patiently.
"Yes! I found another guy to join", I said, then fell back to my bed. It was 7pm. I got downstairs to have dinner. We ate our food and started a small chat. Then, I finally told them what my plans for Saturday was. My annoying elder brother, Rang, chuckled. My mum was a classy woman; and she wanted me to be a business woman like her. "Mum? Dad? I decided I'll be holding an audition for my kpop band", I said, "Ugh...darling. Why can't you be more mature, like your cousins", said my mum, "Honey?", said my dad trying to keep my mum shut. "No. Not this time. Not again. I'll speak my mind. So don't try to make me keep quiet", said my mum to my dad."Jia. This idea of yours is so dumb and immature. Why can't you get over this? Your ambition isn't a joke", she said. "I don't give a damn what you guys say. It's my life and I'll control it. I'm going for the audition, and no one will stop me", I said with tears in my eyes. I left the table and ran toy room. "Can anyone pass me the salt?", asked my brother. My mum and dad looked at him furiously. "Nevermind. I'll manage", he said mumbling.
