"So... explain." Jackson says as I fixed my tie in the mirror.
"I have a girlfriend. Her name is Bella. We met at a hockey game."
"You have never been to a hockey game." Jackson corrects me. He stood against the wall as he drank his coffee smiling at me.
"What do you want from me? Has Ivy finally found the front door yet?"
"Leave Ivy alone man." He chuckles. "She went to work."
"Right." I say. "Well, I am off to a wedding."
"You bought a new suit?"
"Larsa dropped it off this morning." I say. It was black. Tailored to my needs.
"Who is getting married?" He asks. "Bella's mother."
"What is her name?" He asks.
"Why do I care?" I ask confused. "So she isnt your girlfriend. Cee, I know you are new to girlfriends but if you are into your girlfriend you want to know everything about them."
"What do you want from me?"
"Admit to what the fuck kind of show you are playing?"
"Fine. Met her last night. She needs a fake boyfriend. I need to access my trust fund."
"Great. You are scheming. How do you know mom will buy this?"
"I am going to tell them I fell inlove and were in a stable long term relationship. We will even do a fake wedding. I need to access my trust fund so I can invest in my own business."
"So some random girl.. will do all of this?"
"Shes not random actually.. her father is Omar Malik. She is the daughter of the guy with the oil."
"You fucking idiot." He laughs. "I cant wait so watch this unfold. Her mother is like a supermodel from the 90s?"
"And I care because?"
"The two of you.. the tabloids will love that. You guys will have to fool the whole fucking world. She has cameras on her everywhere. Do you not listen to a thing Sam says?"
"No. I thought you knew this already. Ill meet you guys later at the bar." I tell him and he just chuckles. "Good luck."
I drive over to her house and get through the gate. Who the fuck lived in this huge house?
I get out of the car and light up a cigarette leaning against it. I swapped the car out for my white Audi.
The door opens and I watch Bella walk out. She closes the door behind her and looks at me. Well this might be harder than I thought. She was beautiful. More than beautiful. I studied her as she shoved little items into her little purse. It was dark last night and I knew she was beautiful but didnt really see in the nice sunlight on this warm spring day.
She had on a silk cream coloured dress that was wrapped around her shoulder like a master piece. It was long and had a slit on the side. Her leg popped out as she walked over. She had olive skin tone and her skin appeared to be shining. Her blonde long hair was pulled back in a ponytail with some curls framing her face. Showed off the green eyes as they stared at me. She had her make up done, soft pink lip gloss that distracted me from her voice.
"Hello..." She says waving her hand in front of my face. I stand up straight. "Hi." I say. "You look beautiful."
"Thank you." She smiles a little as she looks at the floor for a second. Funny, she did not look like the shy type. "Nice suit." She says looking at the car.
