A/N This chapter is definitely my favourite so far and isn't something I've seen before. So please read! (Takes place between BOTL and TLO around halloween time)

Percy's POV

It started off like any other school day, where I could not wait for it to be over. I groaned when I remembered we had a dance after school today and my mom was definitely gonna make me go.

I was getting ready for PE in the locker room when I heard Tom and his "goons" walking up to me. Oh gods, I did not have the energy to deal with them today.

"Hey Percy," Tom says, snickering.

I sigh, "What do you want Tom?"

Just to teach you a lesson for what happened in the bathroom" He says, cracking his knuckles.

"I told you, the toilet exploding was not my fault! How could I have even done that?" I explain, pretty convincingly if I do say so myself.

"I don't know, but someone has to pay" He shoved me against one of the lockers and I had the strongest urge to pull out riptide, knowing fully well that it wouldn't impact him.

I couldn't fight back because, even if I did, somehow the story would get twisted and I would end up looking like the bad guy. Besides, it was 5 v 1 how was that fair?

He punched me in my stomach causing me to double over. He aimed the second one for my face but I caught it. "Leave me alone dude, I didn't do anything to you" I say grabbing my stuff and rushing out of the locker room before any of them could fully process what was happening.

School pretty much went on like that for the rest of the day. Honestly, at this point I missed camp a bunch. I missed Grover, and Chiron, and my cabin. But most of all, I'll admit, I missed Annabeth. She was always on my mind but now Rachel has entered the equation and all it's done is confuse me. But Annabeth... she's been by my side since I was 12 and gods know- actually scratch that, they probably don't even know how many times she's saved my life.

Now it's time for the dance. Yay.

Meanwhile...

Annabeth's POV

I'm not gonna lie. I missed Percy. After what happened at mount Etna I couldn't stop thinking about our kiss. But he never even brought it up again! He pretended like it never happened and I can never tell with that seaweed brain if he likes me or Rachel.

Since our plan to bomb the princess andromeda was taking place soon I decided to visit Percy and surprise him before we had to go in to battle. Especially not knowing if we were going to survive.

I called the grey sisters cab and rode to Percy's house with a handful of my belongings and both mortal cash and drachmas. Enough for two rides in the grey sisters cab and a few nights at a cheap hotel near his house.

Sally's POV

I was helping Percy get ready for the dance in his black suit and dark blue tie.

"Oh, Percy. You look so handsome!" I say.

"Mooooooom" He complains, "Why are you making me go to this stupid dance"
