Life is Worth Living {Devotional/Spiritual Journey for Teenage Girls}

Hello, my name is Lauren. I'm just like most of you who are reading this. An insecure, confused teenage girl who is trying to figure her life out. But this isn't about me. It's about you and Jesus. Keep that in mind as you read this.
          Life is a strong word. You can be full of life and living your life to the fullest, but you can also be living and breathing and having no liveliness in you. To live is a miracle. To live without any health issues is incredibly incredible, if that makes any sense. You choose the way you want to live. You choose the path you walk down. All paths have obstacles and other paths that branch off, but Jesus can help you through the easy, beautiful life. If you hold on and trust in him. He is the light to your path, the strength in the troubles. You have to follow the directions he gives you, and hold onto your faith. There are many ways to hang on to God. The Bible, attending church and being involved in it, praying daily, and heading toward the goal of heaven and meeting the Father who created you.
          I have had some problems with me living my life to the fullest lately. I forgot about all the blessings that God gave me, and I then became depressed. I felt like I had no purpose, no motivation, I felt as if no one was really there for me and it was all some twisted trap, set up to snap on me. I now realize that I have never been farther away from God than in that month.
          I am currently in the process of finding God again, given that I still go through the same thoughts. I can't think straight anymore, but now I realize that love isn't made to hurt you, it's made to give you life itself. I'm not guaranteeing anything out of this. I have troubles committing to things honestly. But I believe that this is a way that we can fight through whatever you're going through together. We will both find God in this journey, and I am so happy to be your companion. God bless.
