Sometimes sweet after that last angst
/////////////////////////////
Sarah's POV:
I was getting ready for my date with Jessica. I did my makeup and brushed by long, brown hair back. I put on a necklace that Jessica had bought me and grabbed my purse. I also put on my shoes before leaving the house at a slightly fast pace because I was already running late, of course.
I pushed past some bushes and saw Jessica sitting on a blanket while watching the river. "Hey Jessi!" I smiled as I sat down next to her, kissing her cheek and putting my hand on hers. We were sat in our favourite spot in Rosswood Park as it was secret so no one could bother us.
I leaned my head onto her shoulder as he watched the river flow by, a family of ducks swimming by, too. The sun was shining down on us, and we cuddled while talking about anything that came to our minds. We even complimented each other non-stop. All we did was laugh the whole time, so much that our faces and stomachs hurt. It was worth it, though.
The sun got hidden behind the clouds, and I was only wearing a t-shirt, but Jessica took her hoodie off and gave it to me so I could wear it. Jessica didn't mind the cold, but I did. Jessica had brought us some snacks and drinks in a basket, and so we slowly went through those during our date. I thanked her for the sweet and thoughtful gesture.
We were a perfect match for each other, and we, of course, both knew that. Jessica was perfect. This was perfect.
