I woke up. I looked at my phone. It was 7 pm. I had just decided to take a 30-minute nap. Which worked. I had much more energy than I did earlier. I didn't need to do much. I just quickly needed to do my hair.
I combed it out the way I had to, put on a jacket, and put on a hat. Then I grabbed my phone, and key, and left my apartment. I walked over to Jake's apartment. I opened the door and saw all my friends sitting on the couch. One of their youtube videos playing on the TV. I smiled. Jake, Devyn, Kat, Aaron, Tara, Kevin, Reggie, Brennon, and even more were here.
"Welcome to the party," Jake said. I smiled.
"What's up, man," I said. I went and sat on the couch next to pretty much everyone. I felt great. I didn't feel like I was missing anything in life. I didn't need anything. My life was perfect.
