Ok, I know that the AU is countrydragons but I have  an excuse. Japan is a kitsune, a japanese mythical fox that gains a tail and wisdom each time it dies (The maximum amount of lives it has is 9). I kinda wanted Japan to be a kitsune because she is mainly portrayed as a cat (bleh, no offense though) in the countryhumans fandom and also to explain how she survived two atomic bombs.

I don't have enough time to write her full backstory, so have JE's death scene.

WARNING! : slightly graphic depictions of a dead fox and mentions of the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

She watched in horror as the second sun became closer and closer to herself and her mom. "Mom, I thought this was a one time thing!" she choked out in fear. JE looked at her daughter and then back up at the sky again. "I guess my time has come." Japan looked at JE confused. "Wh-What do you mean?" Her mom simply didn't answer and sat down comfortably on the rubble leftover from the first bomb.

"BOOM"

Japan slowly lifted herself up from the ground, only to find she was in a tranquil spring high in a mountain. She was confused about why she wasn't laying in a pile of debris. Suddenly, a voice spoke from high above. "You have lost your first life haven't you." Japan looked down at her paws surprised to see them almost transparent. Her mom stepped out of the spring looking at her daughter. Japan was startled as JE looked clean and any trace of battle scars were wiped away from her sparkly coat.

"Be calm Japan. You're still alive. You just lost a life, but don't worry you'll be back on Earth soon. I need to tell you something though, Please don't waste your lives in pointless war like I did. Looking back now I can't believe how stupid and cruel I was. Please don't end up like me." Japan looked up at her mom with watery eyes, "Are you implying that that was your last life?" "I'm afraid it was, Japan." "SO THA-" she started panicked. "I hope you learn from my mistakes, Japan." JE calmly cut her off.

In all of a sudden the spring fell around her dropping her back where her body last was. She felt a trickle of blood and a sharp pain coming from her ear; it looked as if someone violently shredded it with scissors.

Then, she saw it. Her Mom's body twisted and broken, her nine tails ripped and her fur dyed red with blood.
