Angrily, the woman hurled a stiletto at the young woman who managed to dodge it, but the shoe ended up hitting the mirror inside the closet breaking it in half.
Suddenly opening her eyes, Jennie breathed heavily as she felt the sweat from her forehead drip down her cheeks. She wipes them off with the back of her palms and gets down from the bed. Dragging herself to the shower, she turns the water on to the coldest setting, letting it fall onto her body, waking her up in a harsh way. After finishing her cold shower, she changes into her outfit of the day and begins drying her hair while staring into the half broken mirror.

The sudden ringing of her phone breaks her from her trance, putting the dryer down, she grabs her phone and checks to see who was calling. The caller ID read Lisa, she slid the answer button and greeted her friend.
"Hey Lisa".
"Morning unnie. Are you coming in today"?
"Yeah I'll be there in an hour or so".
She ended the call and finished getting ready. Just then, she heard a knock on her door. She walks towards her door and opens it to see her step sister standing in front of her with a warm smile while holding a glass of milk.
