I walked back to the moving truck and started moving boxes inside the house. And started thinking about the girl next door, Ivy. Ivy. I liked that name. She had deep black hair and was kinda short yet tallish. Her eyes were a crystal blue like diamonds. She was wearing a dark red beanie and ripped black skinny jeans with black combat boots. And let me just say she was rocking the matte black lipstick and eyeliner.
I shook my head trying to get her out of my brain. I brought another box back into my new house. At first I didn't like the idea of moving but now, being here, it didn't feel so bad. I might actually like it here.
"Hey Leo can you go over to the new neighbors house and ask if they have a dolly we can borrow." My mom yelled from the kitchen.
"Sure." I replied. I went outside and ran over to the house next door. I pushed the doorbell and waited.
Ivy answered the door and she gave an awkward smile.
"Hey. What do you need?" She asked.
"Do you by any chance have a dolly we can borrow?" I said. She nodded and led me to her garage. She told me we might have to dig around and started digging. We eventually found it and pulled it out from an old metal box that had rusted over.
"Thanks for letting us borrow this we'll bring it back when we're done." I smiled at her and waved bye and jogged back to my house dragging the dolly behind me.
