When dawn came, Tom woke up.

A strange sensation began to run through his body. He sat at the foot of the bed and knew something wasn't right. He felt weakened.

When he regained the strength in his legs, he headed to the bathroom. He turned the lights on and couldn't believe what he saw in the mirror. There, where his face should have been, only the head of an animal could be seen.

Tom fled in terror; he desperately needed help.

He lived on his farm, which was located in the middle of nowhere. He knew he wouldn't get help unless he went out to find it himself.

He ran a kilometer, and then two... As he entered the town, he began to notice that his muscles were contracting. He didn't feel well at all. He began to experience a pain in his limbs that was difficult to explain. And when he wanted to scream for help, only a honk came out of him.

He continued on his very agitated path. He passed by a supermarket, a gas station, and a newsstand, but he didn't see anyone who could help him.

A couple of streets later, he saw his reflection in the windows of some stores and watched in horror as he shrank. He wanted to call for help again, but his honking was useless. Tom no longer looked like the human he used to be, but like another goose from his farm.

He continued walking until he saw the figure of a woman. With joy, he approached her. He could recognize that she was the lady who had appeared at his door a few hours earlier.

"She is probably a witch, and has cast a spell on me to teach me a lesson." —He thought. "I'm going to apologize, and everything will go back to normal."

She smiled when she saw him, and she gently picked him up.

Tom felt safe.

She brought him home... plucked him... cooked him... and ate him.
