Wrenleys POV~ the NFR has always been my favorite time of year. I don't make plans for the whole month of December, and sometimes November. just so I don't wear myself out too much. currently I'm on my way to Vegas, Nevada to watch my brother, Rocker Steiner, rodeo. Rocker has always been my role model in anything to do with rodeos and western, so to see him go to the NFR for the second time blows my mind. 10 days of non stop "partying". thankfully, this year I convinced my parents to let my best friend since I was 10 to come with us. Raelynn Smith has been my best friend for 5 years and I met her at a rodeo. she had been barrel racing for a good year before I started. and when I began I had a hard time making friends, because I was new obviously. but Raelynn walked up to me at a rodeo in Austin and said "hi I'm Raelynn and now we are friends", and since that day I haven't been able to get rid of her. she's just as excited as I am that Rocker is going back to the NFR. he has always looked at her as a younger sister.
AT VEGAS we finally made it to Vegas and I couldn't be happier. for some reason my parents thought the best idea was to drive? like what? I'm not being ungrateful I promise, or at least I'm not trying to be but it did come out kind of snotty. we rented an air bnb so it will feel more homey in a way.
we arrive at the air bnb and my dad offered to carry in the bags later, just so we could settle in for a bit. staying in our house is Rocker, his girlfriend Stormie, Steely, Mom, Dad, Raelynn and myself. the house is a 5 bedroom and a 7 bathroom with bathrooms in every room plus one in the basement and one on the main floor. "wow this place is nice, Jamie" Raelynn said to my mom. my mom smiled at her and we walked to our rooms, which were in the basement area.
This house is 2 levels, the main floor and the basement and the basement has three rooms and a living area and a bathroom. The main floor has 2 rooms and then everything else Rocker and Stormie picked the other room in the basement which was on the other side of the living area, if that makes sense. Then my parents and Steely picked the two rooms upstairs. Rocker and I are closer than Steely and I are so I'm actually glad he is in the basement with us. I'm super close with Steely, but Rocker has always been my favorite sibling for some reason.
my dad brings my luggage downstairs and I begin to unpack. luckily we got here a day before the back number ceremony so I have the rest of the night to relax, or so I thought.
•Incoming call from James Mauney🤠• W-"hello?" JB-"what are you doing kid?" W-"just got all my things situated why?" JB-"ok well me, Stetson and Ky want to hang out so do you and Raelynn want to?"
I tell him to hold on and walk to Raelynns room, where she's unpacking. "JB wants to know if we want to hang out with him, Stetson and Ky." she nodded her head yes and said that's fine. I walked back to my room.
W-"yeah we're down. I'll send the address"
I hung up on my friend and walked over to my closet to pick out new clothes. currently I'm wearing sweatpants and a hoodie and I want to change into some jeans.

I slip on my boots and walk over to Raelynns room to see if she's ready since the boys should be here soon. just as I'm walking out of my room her door opens. "oh perfect so you're ready" I smile at my friend.
"yeah I'm ready. are they almost here?" she asks. I tell her yes and we walk upstairs.
"mom, dad is it ok if we go with JB, Stetson and Ky?" I ask my parents.
"yes that's fine." my mom replies.
my dad gives her a look, "where are you going?" he asks.
"uhm. I'll have JB come in and talk to you actually, when he gets here" just as those words come out of my mouth the doorbell rings. "oh I think they're here." I open the door and in walk my three favorite bull riders.
"hey Sid, Jaime" Ky says to my parents. my parents love Ky, and the Wrights, and of course JB because who wouldn't love them.
"so where are you guys going?" my dad ask the men in front of him.
"we were just going to go walk around Target for a bit, I have some groceries to get" JB answered the question.
"and then we're going out to eat with my family after, since they should be here by then" Stetson adds.
"well I guess it's ok to go. do you need any money?"
"no I have some dad, thank you though!" I turn towards the door and sprint to the truck, "SHOTGUN" I yell.
Ky gets to the truck before I do and beats me to the front seat "I'll open the back door for you, but I'm the co pilot around here" I laugh at the australian in front of me and accept my defeat.
"open my door then bitch" he smiles at me and opens it. these cowboys always make my standards raise. every. single. time. i'm with them.
"hey guess who just snapped me Stet" I turn towards the brown haired boy beside me.
"my brother?" he asks. I nod my head yes and put my phone up to show him the picture.

Statler is single? and no one told me? I've had a crush on Statler since last year when I met him at the NFR and now that I know he's single I might have to hop on that. I mean after all he is a senior and i'm a sophomore
