Chapter 5: Free

Y/n pov

I woke up and it was the middle of the night...no lights were on...I wondered what to do when training came to mind...but what was I supposed to train with? This place was small, and I couldn't do cool fighting tactics as it would wake everyone up.... wait.... if I was built in here.... shouldn't I have access to apex files? "I hope this works..." I closed my eyes and started concentrating.... hopefully I could open the doors......'cmon......cmon.........' eventually I heard metal clanging, I opened my eyes and saw that the doors were open! I was now free! I stepped outside and smelled the fresh air....it felt memorable......but I couldn't stay in this city forever. Someone could see me! I quickly went around the city, careful to not make much noise and I was now face to face with the ocean...I turned back to the apex base...I was leaving. I was free......I couldn't believe it...I was free from that base....though I will still have to kill to survive....the difference is that I have free will......I turned back to the ocean and started walking...and eventually I was in the ocean....I looked around and saw the sea life. I was so cool! I never thought I would see sea life like this! And the feeling of swimming through the ocean felt so good...but wait.... if I'm a kaiju.... that means! Godzillla! I can't be in the ocean it threatens my safety......so I started looking for an island when suddenly a beeping sound occurred in my head.... I was confused but kept swimming.... that's when the beeping sound happened again! But this time I got a vision. Wait...did I have a sonar? This is useful because Godzilla could sneak up on me at any time, but wait when I saw him he looked like the 2014 version.....this is odd because apex didn't exist back in 2014.......but I also saw some ships next to him....I was against it but I decided to head towards him......I need to see what's going on....so I headed towards him...once I was in a 50 mile radius I stopped getting closer, I didn't want Godzilla to notice me just yet.....we had been swimming for some time when I saw San Francisco, I then knew what was gonna happen....and that the final battle would soon begin.....so I kept following him. Until eventually I saw a helicopter fly over me...I couldn't let it see me, so I went deeper in the water, he kept swimming as the ships soon went away...I was confused by this until I saw the bridge. It was 30 miles away and we were approaching it fast......so I sped past Godzilla and stopped at the bridge.....

Godzilla soon arrived though I was 30 miles away from him he still had one focus, and that was the Muto's...though he soon stopped  at the bridge with his tail breaching the surface....he then raised his tail out of the water as the navy ships fired upon him, he soon let out a roar as he rose up out of the water and roared as the humans opened fire, I stood up above the water in shock, soon the humans started attacking him with their tanks, guns, jets and nay ships causing him to let out cries of pain. This angered me as i watched Godzilla roar in pain at the humans attacking him. this caused him to not see where he was going and go straight through the bridge, that's when I heard some humans say, "arming keys!" and then "3 2 1!" I turned in their direction in confusion, so I dove under the water and headed towards them but that's when an EMP short circuited every ship and vehicle. i rose back up in confusion as to where it came from until a jet landed on one of my dorsal's this hurt me a bit but when i turned back i saw jets falling out of the sky. one by one they all fell.......but then I heard a loud cry from the sky and i knew that roar far to well as i looked up and I saw the male Muto come down on the boat but before it could reach it I lunged at it out of the water and bit onto it. I dragged it under the water and punched it in the face. i then dragged it across the ocean floor as it freaked out at the sudden attack, i eventually dove out of the water with the Muto in my claws as i dove back under though eventually it got free of my grasp and got out of the water, it flew above the ship as I rised up, I roared at it as it roared back and flew at me, pushing me back. I got up and saw the Muto had gotten the ship, I then saw as it rose from the water onto the mainland and started prying at the boat. It eventually got the nuclear weapon off. I leaped out of the water and grabbed the Muto pinning it to a building as it roared at me trying to get out of my grasp as i pulled out one of my blades and sliced off one of the male's small claws and was about to slice off the other when it pushed me off of itself. i got up and was about to lunge at it, but it quickly flew up and roared at me before flying away. i growled as i started following it through the city ignoring that i had just made myself present to the outside world...
