When the leclers arrived for dinner there was one member of the family missing. Charles' seat at the table was empty. Jackie was starting to get pissed off
"He can't even celebrate this one thing for me even though its been my biggest dream for years" She whispers to Maddie
"Chill maybe his flight got delayed" She whispers back
Right when Jackie was about to reply a familiar face walks in.
"Sorry I'm a little late my flight was delayed a bit" Charles said
"We told him the moment he arrived in Nice he had to get on the train to Monaco straight away and go here." Pascale says
Celine and Nicholas chuckle
They then make small talk with him asking about how his race went before taking a seat at the table next to Arthur who was in front of Jackie making this the seating arrangement.

Jackie greeted him with a small smile while he gave a slight nod.
"Congratulations on the part" He said
"Congratulations on your race" I replied
That was it. They both kept eating as Jackie tried not to look in his direction.
Arthur then spoke up wanting to catch up with Jackie. "Jackie hows that carter guy who's been all over your instagram story's"
Charles began to eavesdrop
"Oh" Jackie blushes
"He's just my co-star we've been trying to hang out. You know practicing for the camera" She adds
"Oh my God, stop trying to be nonchalant she literally is in love" Maddie says
"MADDIE" Jackie shushes her sister up
"My bad" She replies
Arthur laughs while looking to see for Charles' reaction. Charles didn't love what he was hearing. Hearing Jackie falling in love with someone else fills him with dread but it must be how all older brothers feel when their younger sisters fall in love isn't it?
