Alex walked into their room and saw Henry kneeling by their bed. Alex would have assumed it was a sex thing but Henry was murmuring and holding a cross in his hands.

He kneeled down beside Henry. And gently reached out to touch his shoulder.

"Hey you okay?"

"Not really, it's stupid but sometimes when my OCD gets real bad the ritual of praying and Bible verses helps. I don't even think it's because I believe in god really. I just grew up going to church and I guess it reminds me of a less complicated time. I would say more peaceful and happy but it's not really peaceful and happy when you know that when you get older your parents are going to disown you for being trans and gay."

"Come here, Baby." Alex said softly Henry nestled against Alex's chest. Alex wrapping his arms around him tightly, grounding him. Henry found solace in the embrace, constant deep pressure had always calmed his nerves. Which is why Alex is always wrapping him up tightly in hugs. And he couldn't be more grateful to Alex for giving him what he needs without complaint or argument.

"It's not stupid, I'm a lapsed catholic but I still find solace in it sometimes."
Henry sniffled cuddling in closer.
"Is there anything I can do?" Alex said pressing a kiss to the top of Henry's head
"Just hold me."
So Alex did and he also started to hum a song in Spanish because Henry had told Alex before that he found his voice soothing. He also teased him before that he should get into voice acting. Saying people would pay to hear him read the phone book. Alex smiled at the memory.
