jasper looked at his hand and held it he ran back to his house and ran cold water over the burn after he told his mom about his hand she bandaged it up for him and asked him why he went out in the field he told her that he seen a strange cross in the field she looked at him scared and said "jasper don't ever go back out there again" he said "why mom what's wrong with going out there" he looked at her confused she said "well I was gonna wait to tell you when you turned 18 but now that u found the cross its time to tell you" she took a deep breath and said "The reason why you came home with burns on your hand is because you touched the cross well crosses only burn vampires well jasper you are one your half vampire and half human when I meet your father and got married he never told me that he was a vampire until I got pregnant with you and when I told him he acted like he didn't care
