The Mysterious Cross

Okay so this book isnt finished but i would like to know if you like my book So message me and tell me what u think it needs or what I need to add

One day jasper went walking when he came across a strange cross in a field he didn't know who put it there or why it was there but he was curious. Jasper's curiosity always got the better of him so he went further through the woods as he walked the clouds in the baby blue colored sky started turning black and it got darker. When he arrived at the cross. When he touched it it burned into his skin he yelled out in pain Authors P.O.V (so you know how only vampires get burned with crosses well jasper doesn't know he's a vampire so he's wondering why he's getting burned)
