The school was big, huge at that. I never went to a really big school, all the schools I went to were really just ghetto..

I can tell this school is gonna be different, people here look nothing like the people at my old school, AT ALL!

Ok I need to stop comparing my old life to this one, obviously my mom thinks we're staying, might as well get the same mentality as her, plus you never know, it might just be looks and their probably worst than people at my old school, omg girl chill you just nervous.

"Ok mom, I can walk in by myself." I turned and told my mom when I notice I started walking in and she was following behind.

"Are you sure sweet pea?" My mom says concerned.

"Yes I got this." She nods and walks off to her car to go drop off dontae to school.

I look up nervously and slightly scared, here we go.

"Are you ready monster? Your first day of school?" I ask my son who's in the back seat, I can see the nervousness in his eyes.

"Yea I'm just a little nervous." He says, his voice was even a little shaky.

"Oh I know baby, but it'll go away fast, you're gonna make new friends and your teacher is gonna loveee you." I say dragging out the word 'love'.

I'm so glad his school and Jayelea's are right by each other, don't have to take very far drives, thats good.

"Ok we're here monster, let's go." I get out the car and open the back seat for him and moved to the side letting him walk out.

I bend down in front of my son getting on his heigh level, looking in his eyes i see them watering, making me immediately feel bad and hug him, making him start crying.

"It's going to be ok monster, it's no need to be nervous or cry your gonna be ok, ok tae?" I said after letting of of the hug looking right back at him.

"Ok mom." He says whipping his tears with his light blue coat that had tiny green dinosaurs all around on it.

"Do you want me to walk in with you?" I ask.

"Please." He said grabbing my hand and gripping it.

"Ok ok I will." I said getting back up and walking towards the front of the school.

I would've had to walk in with him anyways.

We walk in the school, the hallways weren't that wide but for a elementary school they were pretty big, there was kids in the hallway in lines and teachers talking to each other and walking to their destination.

I see a random teacher and decided to ask her where the principal office is.

"Hey um excuse me can you tell me where the principal office is?" I walk in front of her stopping her.

She smiles and soon starts laughing leaving me confused.

"Well you're too old to be going to a elementary school sweetheart." She says laughing even harder, making me even more confused.

He laughs soon slow down when she sees my little boy holding my hand, and looks back up at me with a face of shock, and soon disgust.

"Right down there." She says quickly and points down the hall with a door that has red inspirational texts on it.

She immediately moves me out the way and continues to walk wherever she was going.

I walk down thinking about why she was acting like that, god I thought it would be different here, but maybe it's the same with the same old people.

We walk in the office and there was, I assume, the principal, he had good amount of hair on his head, he wasn't bad looking, very fine actually.

"Oh hello there how many I help you?" He says looking at me, then down at dontae.

.....

I walk out the school after walking my son to his class and introducing myself to his teacher.

Before I could open my car door I here some people stop me.

"Excuse me!" They say.

I turn to see 3 I assume moms, one white with ginger hair, very thin lips that had red lipstick on with a pretty red suit red definitely her favorite color.

Another one, white with very short blonde that looked good on her, she had a baby blue suit on with a shit ton of makeup.

The last one, dark skin with her hair down and curly, she had dark purple lipstick on and a all black suit.

"Oh uh hi, how may I help you?" I asked giving them all my attention, this is my time to make new friends.

"Well this is a very small town and we never seen you around before so we just wanted to introduce ourself." The girl with ginger hair speaks for them. What does she mean small? This town is the biggest I went to.

"Oh ok." I say smiling widely.

Ginger start to speak for them again, "my name is Lea, her name is India" she says pointing at the girl with blonde hair, "and this is Brionca." She introduces everybody and they all say hi to me.

"Oh well hi my name is Allison whiller, nice to meet you guys." I say shaking all their hands.

"Um I also wanted to tell you there is a judgement day at the Mayers office to talk about the district, some parents wants to speak their mind about the schools and we expect to see you there." She explains, she looks at her girls and they agree with her piggys.

"Ok well I'll see if I can make it." I say smiling.

"Ok, see you later." She says and they all walk away, I get in my car and think about everything.
