Percy's POV

I woke with a start. Piper was gone and Leo was playing with stuff from his tool belt.
" where is Piper?" I asked while rubbing the sleep out of my eyes.
" she's by the shore training with her dagger." He answered not looking up from his little project.
I got up and walked to the shore. Sure enough Piper was trying to kill a tree with her dagger. I decided to mess her up. I focused on the water and willed it to send a tidal wave right on Piper. She screamed as it splashed on her. She dropped her dagger and ran towards me.
" PERCY!!!!" She ran straight towards me. I turned and started to run but she pulled me back.
" Percy Jackson! Why did you do that?!"
" I felt like it." I returned.
" well since your here want to train with me?"
" bring it on beauty queen!"
" how did you know my nickname?"
" I didn't it's just that your pretty, and you are bossy so I am going to call you beauty queen."
"Ok" she went to retrieve her dagger.
I brought out my pen.
" your fighting with a pen?" She asked staring at my pen. I clicked it.
" ok then.your dead meat!" She yelled going to cut my arm. I blocked it with my sword and threw her knife to the ground. I then turned and put the sword to her neck.
"Well played Jackson... Well played."
" wanna try again?"
" sure." I said handing Piper her dagger. She took her dagger and cut a gash in my knee and arm. I dropped my sword and picked it up with my other arm. I disarmed her and willed the ocean to pull her back. She yelped and walked back to shore. I thought about the water on her and willed it to go back to the ocean.
"Thanks but no thanks." She said looking a bit mad. I laughed, picked up my sword and spun it with my fingers.
" had enough McLean?"
" not even close Jackson." She responded. With that we kept fighting.
