The long lost hero

Percy tells us

           pipers POV
After we left Percy alone with at least 30 arai, Leo and I went to build a shelter. I dug a big hole the shape of a square so that we can hide it better. We were about to build the logs up when we heard a painful scream.
" was that Percy?" Leo asked me
" I hope not. I'm gonna go check."
" ok be careful though. I don't know if the arai are gone yet,"
I nodded and walked toward the scream. What I saw made my heart stop. Percy was on the ground clutching his ears. All of the arai were gone except for one and it had Percy's sword. It cut Percy on the arm but he didn't move.
"Percy!!" I screamed as I ran to his side.
" Percy what's wrong! Percy!"
" p-Piper?!" He asked whisper screaming. He looked close to tears and was shaking.
" I made him remember only the worst of his dreams. The worst of his battles. The worst of his memories." The arai chuckled Evilly.
" make it STOP!!" Percy yelled while crying and shaking.
" Percy! It's ok! I'm right here! Your going to be ok!"
"Piper make it stop! I don't care if I can't remember anything anymore I just want it to stop!" He yelled
I didn't know what to do so I did what I thought I should do. I charm spoke it.
" YOU WILL GO AWAY! NOW! YOU WONT BOTHER US AGAIN!!!" I put all of my emotions into what I was saying. The arai left. I fell to my knees by Percy who was still in tears shaking and covering his ears. He was wide eyed and they were full of pain and suffering.
" so m-many gone! So many of my friends... g-gone!" He kept mumbling on about people dying, some people  named Luke Bianca  Selina and Charles . Poor guy... Sounds like he has been through a lot of pain and it's all coming back to him at one time.
" Piper, what's taking so long. Is there something wro- Percy are you ok?" Leo walked up.      " dude you look horrible!"
Leo wasn't wrong. His hair was all messed up, his clothes were all ripped up and shredded, and he had scratches and gashes all over his body. He was still shaking. Leo came over and removed percys hands from his ears. Percy put one hand on his forehead.
"Percy do you need some time alone?"
He nodded and put his hands on his face. I looked at Leo and he got what I was trying to say. We walked away.
When we got back, we started building the logs up and used a sheet ,we found covering some shelves in the building we were in, for the roof. When it was done me and Leo got some leaves and spread them on the top to camouflage it. While we did that, Percy came over and lied on his back, putting his forearms on his forehead. It started to rain so we brought Percy inside the shelter and we all sat on the ground. " Percy?"I asked
" yeah. Yeah?" He asked moving around, and removing his hands from his forehead.
" what did you mean when you said you were gonna die anyways?" I asked carefully.
" when me and Leo were taking a break from walking earlier, I swam in the lake and got a message from a water spirit that said I would have to make a decision that ended my days."
" we won't let that happen." Leo said
" you don't get it. I almost died twice because I didn't want you two to die. My fatal flaw is loyalty. It has the word fatal in the name." He said, not looking up from the floor.
" that's why it took you so long?"
He nodded. " why didn't you tell me?"
Leo said. Percy didn't respond.
After a long silence I said " it's getting late... We should get some sleep."
" I will take first watch." Percy said.
" no Percy, you've been through a lot today. I will."
" ok." He said. Then Leo and Percy both fell asleep.
